Great video, I especially liked you both looking at a car, discussing it and then watching it go through the auction. Then you repeated that procedure several times which is much better than looking at several cars first and then following the them later into the auction. Very good video for the private buyer and the info to always consider the fee's. 'Wheels flat but only at the bottom' 😊😊😊😊 very good Liam. One suggestion to private buyers would be to check a car on Vehicle Score (Basic information) and especially the MOT history which is free.

Great video gents as a part time side trader sub 3k ish is the bracket I buy around so interesting personally I do find sub 1500 you run the risk more of a lemon and the margin reduces so always aim between 2-3k keep them coming 👍👍👍👍

That focus was a steal....I would've bought that in a heartbeat... I've got the same car in grey (2008 50.000 miles) with an automatic transmission and I paid £2600 a year ago...
I've had the cambelt, front arms and a major service done for about £700 in all...

cheap cars in these auctions are not even cheap after paying fees and vat! Sometimes better just looking for a cheap car on private sale and see if you can get any money knocked off for anything, bought a car at auction recently for £2,600 and ended up paying nearly £700 on top of that!

Do you need trade insurance to bid on cars at Aston Barclay?
No, the public can walk into Aston Barclay sites and bid in person. To bid online you need a trade account with them, a copy of trade insurance certificate is needed to get a trade account with them
Hi guy's! Interested in starting. I'm in West London. Could you recommend a decent car action near me. Although Chelmsford isn't too far really. When I look online for information there seems to be so many complaints about a lot of auction houses. Great video content.
Is the CAP price quoted at the auction house , as in is it available for all at the auction?

You do need be authorised and regulated by the FCA

Didnt think you bought budget cars. Just examples .... Yes you nick em and they can indeed wash off for 1k margin. Others just too far gone sell after fees £100 loss barely over scrap and still struggle out of them. 4/5 make a car again even bought under £500 hammer
