This one customer I had, she actually made my boss cry and was rude to me for no reason. I work in a subway and I’ve only been working for about three months. The first time that customer had come, she was incredibly rude to my boss. She had four subs and all of them were to be toasted. When my boss had put two in one toaster, she then demanded that all four were to be put in for the reason of “it’s going to get cold if you put them in separately” which is BS. After explaining how a max of two subs could go in each microwave, the customer kept in demanding that all went in and didn’t listen. I don’t know the rest of her story, but I had her a few shifts after that incident. I was making the sub like I usually do, adding the vegetables as she wished. She then asked me not to pile the vegetables not so high. I’m not sure if she meant the olives and jalapeños or all the vegetables (there were a lot) but she was very demanding about it. What I spread it out even more than usual, she was complaining about the lack of olives on one side, even though it was almost completely consistent with the rest of the six inch. When I had wrapped the sub, she was asking my coworker who was doing the till if the sub would stay wrapped up. She said it was fine, but we put on an extra sticker go be sure. When me and my coworker were in the supply area, she had taken her sub out of the bag, looked at it in disapproval and sighed. She then put it back in the bag and left the store. Don’t worry the beotch will be banned from the store next time my boss sees her.
This is exactly how I order my sandwich “Yea can I get uhh Italian bread” “Can you toast the sandwich a little bit and bacon with pepperoni lettuce tomato thank you bro”

I love how perfect you are making those sandwiches and at some points it makes me mad like how you fold it without anything coming out. That's the hardest part of making a sandwich and I am so jealous of how good you are at it.
Can these customers just give us a break??? I literally hate customers like these. They make our lives way more complicated
I don't work in food service anymore, but I always assumed those people were having a rough day, probably hangry, possibly having a panic attack. I'd rather think of them as genuinely nice people who don't mean to be rude. Makes it easier for me to not take it personally and to give them good service in spite of their behavior, and hopefully that means their day gets better and they don't keep lashing out at people.

Hey man!
This is kinda random, but one day I was with my fam and we were out having fun and we stumbled over a subway. So I was like "Ayo! Let's get some subway, i was this dude online and he makes nice sandwiches" (ok im not that extroverted but i think you get my point). We walk into the subway and I kid you not, it was BEAUTIFUL (and we were in a pretty nice neighborhood too).
I got a sandwich with my family and it was AMAZING, I could tell it was good because the empolyee working wrapped it nice and tight so nothing would spill out. There was a sticker too :>
Ik this is really random but I just wanted to share it :))

I remember when I was working at Goodwill. I had this lady that was ultra nice. I say do you want to round up to donate to charity ? She said yes well after she looked at the receipt that we gave her she said I didn't want to round up my tip!!! .She was literally flipping out. Had a line of customers. I had to wait for manager to come over there to literally take one cent off. It's so weird how they can act so sweet but also be so angry all the sudden. I guess sometimes I wonder if it's like a mental illness I don't know.

I love how milad tells about life stories and fun stories while making sandwiches.
