I cant wait for this Halloweekends. My favorite is the fearground freakshow. This year I'm taking some friends and we are gonna go in every haunted attraction.
The thrill is closed still, they are gonna take it down allegedly, the houses are awesome as usual, blood on the baillou is moved to the adventure place, and they got rid of the zombie highschool.
Halloweekends 2021 was very fun in my opinion. I liked how each area of the park had it's own type of scariness. Like where valravn, the arcade, and corkscrew are is where the clowns were. There were also some near gemini so that was fun. Then there was the part of frontier town near steel vengeance and the music playing, the fog, and all the scarers were fun. For me that area was the most cool and frontier town where the animals are was pretty scary. It was much darker than 2019. The only source of light were red lights and it was extremely foggy and dark. So you didn't know who was a normal person or who was a scarer.
Cedar Point's Haunt is a shell of what it used to be. I'm not sure why Cedar Fair keeps Kings Island and Scarowinds really scary and fun, but has allowed HalloWeekends to come to this. If you look up videos from 5+ years ago, you'll see a big difference in terms of theming around the park, quality of haunts, and overall atmosphere. I hate how most of the Screamsters just stare at you now too, and don't go out of their way to go frightening. Obviously, this is the company's doing. I love how they attempt to make it more fun and family friendly during the day, but you can still go all out with creepy decorations and haunts at nightfall. I really hope things change these next few years since Cedar Point is pretty good at switching things up.
I went there same year and it’s the best time to be at cedar point. It’s usually just rollercoasters and rides during summer and spring but august September and October are the best months to be there. The scaring is so interesting and fun. If you go there during halloweekends I recommend going to the zombie school area,
Question during the Halloweekends is there a need to buy Fast Lane Plus Passes? We always get them for June thru July when we go but since we have never gone in Oct we do not know, please advise.
Tuff to say, the park is still really busy, but now the haunted houses eat up some of the crowds. We usually don’t, but if it is busy when your there you could just get it the day of.
Also you have to consider that the haunted houses have long lines, so that will take time to go thru them all, if you want to do rides too, then maybe it would be advisable to get the fast lane so you have time to ride rides and do haunted houses
You thought the walkthroughs here were bad, try Six Flags Great America. There are a lot of them and they are all tiny. Like, take five steps and you're out! I have worked at and go to Cedar Point houses all the time, they're amazing compared to Great America, which is sad cuz I like that park too.
Yes, but it depends on the price. The fast pass will very in price depending how busy of a day it is. Weekends can run about $150, so that it’s pretty pricey. It will cut down ride time drastically. If you have the money I would say get it.
Also they sell two levels of the fast pass. The more expensive version includes the most popular roller coasters. You can go onto the cedar point website to see the pricing and what rides are included with the two versions of the pass.
if i’m going to cp for the first time and it’s during halloweekends, and i’m mostly just there for rollercoasters, should i skip the “scary” stuff altogether?
I really wanna work here so badly this year but sadly gotta recover from anorexia but hopefully I get better soon so I can work their...that would be a dream come true! :D
When you go to a big park like that and expect every single actor to be directly trying to scare YOU , you’re asking a pig to fly. You have to think about the OTHER 100,000 that are there as well at the same time you are.
It wasn’t that I didn’t like the show, I didn’t like the location. It caused a bottleneck, and those who were trying to just pass threw had a hard time.
Jason Mazurek thank you! I’m going for the first time this october (if i can that is) and was just curious because it’s probably the only time for a long while that i can go. thank you so much again!!
I'm a christian and as much as i love God and want to follow his word, I'll never forget the fun of Halloween. The smells, the atmosphere, the costumed people and the overall feel of everything even if I didnt like the candy much but it was fun. It's my childhood lol
None of the haunted houses or walkthroughs were good this year. There were way too many people, the lines were just ridiculous, and they just weren’t scary.
I go to cedar point every time I visit my dad and the crowds this year were CRAZY!!!!! Like the traffic to get in was backed up into downtown Sandusky.
If you wait for a hour inline for a haunted house and you get no one to jump out at you and try to scare you it gets annoying, after several houses of the same thing then I’m just done with the Haunt
Buffet is 10/10. Would recommend. Worth the money
Awesome!
What buffet??

Yeah we actually had some of the best jump scares in the school area
The zombie high school is now discontinued
I went to Cedar point last year for Halloweenweek My favorite on the house first Bloodbath Scarecrow Hunted house
I miss this so much
Like the old videos. Things have changed quickly there

Yes, it will eat up abunch of your time waiting in line for haunted houses
@@JasonMazurek ok great thx my man
Hi Jason, when you made this video, were you there on a Friday or Saturday?
Saturday
How long are the wait times for the rides? I'm going on Saturday and I'm wondering what to expect
Pry hour plus for the big rides
@@JasonMazurek do the coasters stay running throughout the night?
@@JaxonsMusic yes most of them will
I haven’t been to cedar points Halloween event but I went to Busch gardens Halloween event in October 2019 in Williamsburg and it Was awesome
I want to go to that park soon
Is it worth it to get fast passes?
Yes if it’s a busy weekend
No Coasters running?
Yes pretty much all rides are going
I see people with those freaking "don't scare me" necklaces.
Lol, lots of them
You can still get on the rides correct?
Yes
I went this year about 10 times cuz I live near cedar point and the first couple times were good but the crowds are rediculous
Yeah they can get crazy
if i’m going for roller coasters during halloweekends should i just skip the “scary” stuff altogether?
oh thank you! my mom and i were trying to figure out if they had haunted houses cause on the website there was no information them so thank you!
Vichi yeah they call them mazes on the website
@@JasonMazurek Ohh alright! thank you again!
Can you also ride the rollercoasters?
Yup

If you saw the whole show, you might actually like the Boneyard Battleground

I think the band is good but they should relocate it
is TTD normally open during Halloweekends?
Yes

Scary farm is way better im gonna be honest
Not familiar with that place
Jason Mazurek I think he is referencing knots scary farm, knots berry farms Halloween event

Yeah I was wondering about that. The menu doesn’t look great and you get one time thru the line.
None of the haunted houses or walkthroughs were good this year. There were way too many people, the lines were just ridiculous, and they just weren’t scary.

Y tho they were good for me
Cut throat cove was bad ass
