$7 per bag for laundry doesn't sound too bad to me. If you do laundry once a week that's only $112 or twice a week $224 which in comparison to the tens of thousands it costs to go on SAS doesn't seem like very much
True but the bags aren’t that big to fit a lot of clothes. Often times people would have to use 2 or 3 bags depending on how thick and how much space their clothes took up for just one day of laundry. But ig if you were to budget laundry costs for SAS it can be doable
@@taylors-world oh, I didn't realise that the bag wasn't particularly large. I've seen it at hotels where they charge per item and that can get very costly very quickly
I don't know if you still reply, but hi!! I've been loving all your content lately (you may or may not remember me commenting on your video where you talked about feeling disconnected after SAS 🤭) I was wondering if you had any advice for someone who's trying to fund for SAS? I'm going as a Gap year student for fall of 24 and I'm worried I might not be able to bc of financial issues
Definly first thing I tell everyone is to start saving now! The next thing I would advise is apply to SAS scholarships and outside scholarships. I was able to recieve a lot of scholarships that covered a majority of my tuition for SAS! I would also look at cheaper cabin choice options (those really determine your tuition). I ended up doing an inside double cabin to cheapen the cost of SAS. Lastly, I would make a GoFundMe. I created a GoFundMe and was suprised to see many friends and family willing to donate money for SAS!
Definately gonna make a more in depth video about this soon but here is a list of outside scholarships you can apply to. Tortuga study abroad scholarship, Phi Kappa Phi scholarship, Ashley Soule scholarship, Conroy Foundation scholarship, Good collgeges study abroad scholarship, Scotts cheap flights scholarship, Gilman scholarship, fund for education abroad scholarship
All the items I talked about are linked in the description below!
im also going on fall 22!!
Can’t wait to meet in person!
awww are you getting excited?!
Yep only 2 months left!
