I have a question on one of the examples you provided at 33:05, it's the scope, bleeding, balloon example. You said the correct code is 43460. Is the endoscopy bundled in this procedure or would it be coded separately? Or since code 43460 is under the manipulation section does that mean no scope was used?
In regards to scenario with code 44217 insertion of flexible esophascopy to destroy lesion using snare technique would you use x number of lesions if more than 1?
@@roxannarodriguez979 no you would not track how many lesions. If you look at the code description, it states lesion (s).... that means this code includes multiple lesions removed via this method.

You would use another code the drainage

The manipulation section are codes where a scope was NOT used.
