  • This under eye serum has DEFINITELY become a staple for my purse - I LOVE to freshen up with a swipe under each eye. And each of these oils are deeply nourishing for your sensitive skin - So lavish this serum!!
    ½ tbsp evening primrose oil // goo.gl/Fjz5W9
    ½ tbsp avocado oil // goo.gl/e9I3Zr
    ½ tsp arnica oil // goo.gl/Ys7OCd
    6 drops rose absolute essential oil goo.gl/2PVGCY
    Mix all ingredients together and place in a dropper bottle (goo.gl/GRvrU8).
    Store in cool, dark cabinet for up to one year.
    Application: Place a few drops onto your fingers, and apply to your under eye area, patting the product into the delicate skin tissue around your eyes. I recommend using it every night after cleansing. If you are using a retinol product, use after applying your retinol.

    I am going to try to pick up these products to make this eye serum. I showed my daughter who just turned 40 and I turned 65. I want to make this for us both. It may take a few months to come up with the rose absolute oil but I'm on a mission and I will get it. Can't wait to feel it on my skin. Thanks for posting this for us!

    Thank you for this video! I especially love how you put the oil in a rollerball! I'm sure it smells divine too! I do have a question, is there a specific sunscreen we should use around our eyes during the day? Or is the spf in our makeup enough? Thanks again!

    • @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen
      @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen  7 років тому +1

      I think the SPF in your makeup is enough if it's 30 +. Unless you are on the beach/pool/sun tanning - in which case I would use a proper facial sunscreen and take it up and around your eye area.

    Sophie, thank you for sharing the recipe. I am going to do it, but when I get the recipe from the description below the video, it asked for 1/2 tsp Arnica Oil.Then I went back to your video, you used Trauma Oil. Which oil should I really use?

    • @helpfulnatural
      @helpfulnatural 7 років тому +2

      Trauma oil is a blend of arnica oil and calendula oil. They are both healing oils. Hope this helps. :)

    Hey Sophie. Would it be okay to substitute the rose absolute essential oil for geranium instead, or would it not work as well?

    • @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen
      @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen  7 років тому

      I think that would be great. I went with rose because it's a soft scent on your face, but I think geranium will be great! Try it, and come back and tell me how it worked!!

    • @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen
      @SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen  7 років тому

      Great question - Go light, a little goes a long way. And make sure to give your skin time to absorb the oils - Don't rush into make up. And if your skin is naturally oily, maybe use the oil at night instead of in the morning before makeup!
