Delves are amazing for people who don't want to deal with the WoW community while still getting endgame gear. If that means the sweats have one more type of content they have to keep track of, so be it, that's their fault for playing the game in the way they do.
Agreed, for those who do not want to get stuck on the end game track of raiding or mythics delves offer a fantastic opportunity for them. We were specifically meaning that if we have to hunt gear down are we having to look at specific delves or delves in general to get BiS.
imagine being someone like me, new to wow, and see the shit that happens in raids and dungeons. im looking for a squad but for now im happy that i can play and get rewards away from the toxicity.
Exactly why delves were created! There’s a large part of the player base that doesn’t want to be involved in either the toxicity of mythics and raids or just doesn’t want to play at that level! If you’re looking for a guild, you can always search up The Electric Boogaloo, both hosts are pretty much online most days and always looking to play the game with anyone, if anything drop in on the discord and hangout!

If you're doing M+/heroic raids, you shouldn't feel forced to farm coffer keys. The keys only give 603 level champion gear. The maps and vault will progress just as well from non-bountiful delves as bountiful ones. I've transitioned to mostly just ignoring keys and doing the fastest completion regular delves because the gear from coffer keys is kind of pointless now.
It's really funny how I've done over 100 keys this season already and only had a few toxic experiences, all in super low keys. I find most players complaining about toxicity are usually the toxic ones. In high keys, you wipe and brick the key, say gg well played, and move on, or push on for progression and vault. In low keys, you go over by 2 minutes and people are super mad their key got depleted. It's hilarious how much more toxic noobs are compared to seasoned players. I guess since we have a completion rate of like 8% in high keys, we get used to learn from failures, and less skilled players have yet to get through it, or lack the perseverance.
Leave Delves alone. I heal Heroic, and I loath Mythic+. This gives me a gear track I can get outside of raids without being forced to run Mythic+. Gives my alts a gear track without having to run LFR or Normals, and invest time I don't have for alts. Delves are supposed to be a Gear pillar for World Content, for the players who don't like group content. Let them have their loot and content.
We love em don’t get us wrong! Fantastic addition to the game, we both like to focus on end game content so gearing came into question on if we will have to focus on them or for best in slot.
@@TheValleyofSpirits A fair concern. Honestly I wish I didn't have to run Mythic for Unbound Changeling or Gale as those are amazing for Resto Shammy this Season. So I get the apprehension about the possibility of having to farm them (delves) for BIS. Still think the amount and quality is fine.
@@TheValleyofSpirits I don’t understand the BiS grind outside the preferred gameplay ‘pillar’ Surely there are secondary options that are close to BiS. Unless someone is like a bleeding edge content consumer racing for realm first, there isn’t much point investing extra time into something that’s only BiS for one season. Having a coordinated team and staying focused on the content someone is used to consuming is going to be a much bigger benefit than the extra situational 2-5% DPS/Heals/Mitigation a trinket might give.
Oh definitely, it won’t be the end of the world to not have BiS, we aren’t ones to try a world first or anything. But we do like to make sure we can output the damage or heals if needed. Every week we do simulate our characters with their vaults, to try to get the edge.
Delves are great and I enjoy running them in my downtime. But I don’t think for the challenge they provide (near non existent) they don’t need to provide heroic gear imo. This is the first season in a long time where low mythic + keys are challenging so for people spouting “keys and raids are toxic” yeah, a lot of people don’t want to deal with low gear low rating players. Nothing wrong with that the game doesn’t have a metric to say “take this guy he actually uses kicks and defensives, over the high ilvl meta class”
With the recent changes I think it’s added a lot of challenge to the game. Which is fantastic, it scaled tanks down and made healers feel like apart of the group. I think the biggest problem is that at low levels people can’t take the two seconds or so to type a message or even ping where to go if someone doesn’t know the dungeon. Yeah I think an additional problem is, as you mentioned, the only way you can rate a player is there ilevel and mythic scoring otherwise you don’t really have in game data to let you know how well someone can do.
wow is doing everything they can to destroy gamers with toxicity,now they have made the game politics with in game rally from wowhead and wow for harris,i guess f the gamers who dont support her or want politics in game.They already cram lgbt down our throats.Can we just have gaming without sexual preferences and politics.I guess not with blizzard now.
