That's super helpful... I have been live recording ad nauseum to get the swing and ghost notes in my testing, this is gonna be a game changer! I would love a little rundown on how you use just the first half of the bar's steps and then expand from there, not certain why you do that. I am stuck right now with these really long 4 bar phrases that take forever to loop through to change stuff on the 4th bar. I wish i could start playing from bar 3 or 4 instead of waiting for bar 4 to come around. Also is there a way to organize the scenes, reorder them so i can keep them in a bit of a human readable structure.
Thank you! And I sometimes use fewer steps so I can quickly try out different rhythms without having to change more than a few steps. I can always add more steps later or use step components to expand or reorganize it, too.
Those are clips from 79Creations on Etsy and are meant for the OP-1f. They don't work well with the XY due to the pitch bend, but I'm waiting on an XY stand in the mail I ordered from FanBoy. Should be here Monday.
Hi James, seen your videos pop up in some of my research, even back in OP-Z threads! On the OP-XY, have you found any way to have a step component work on only one note if a step has multiple notes? Like if I have kick and snare both on track 2 step 5, and want to remove only the kick every third trigger and let the snare still play? Thanks for your thorough research! I like your ideas of using jump and then having another bar with more variations play later as a fill. Might be a good workaround for me if there is no direct way to have a step component only impact certain notes.

Hello! I don't think that's possible, which is part of why I've stuck with three drum tracks. Sure would be nice though...
