Hi, I only subscribed last week and just printed your ‘new grip’ prior to this one last week, I had planned to paint it but it came out beautifully. I was able to mod the thumb and pinky switch housings to hold a 12mm tactile switch with the button off a cheap Alixpress push switch so really happy with the feedback (I fly VR). Just waiting on some 5 way switches as I intend to add a hat to the thumb. Really impressed this is free, and you’ve done a fantastic job in the design. The only comment is maybe add some version control summary/ description to your designs, I struggled with all the trigger options for example. Many thanks
You should do the grip handle from a OV-1C Mohawk. That was the joystick that the TV show Battlestar Galatica used for the Viper of original series in 1978. I bet a lot of collectors of the show would love to have that!
@@thesimnet the top of the trigger mod keeps breaking. The walls are too thin. I’ve printed like 10 so far. I have used both pla and pegt no luck. I’ve tried so Many different settings. If you re enforce it just a little bit I believe it will work better
Love the F-4 Phantom? Consider subscribing and liking this video, as there is plenty more to come! 👻
Wooo awesome! Been enjoying your p51 grip! I'm redesigning the base attachment to attach to a 2020 aluminum extrusion for Very Big Stick :tm:
Laserwing sells the TM to extrusion adapter

Thank you so much for the feedback! You're right, a proper version summary (and pdf build guide) is def necessary at this point!
Your project is something of childhood dreams! Hope to see Russian inspired sticks from you soon.
Thank you so much!
Great work as always!
Thank you!
Hell yeah

That's a great idea, definitely going on the list! I'll dig around for a scan or blueprints or good ref photos.
@@thesimnet thanks!
Craft Could is also a good source for 3d printing of all types.

Wish i would know how to use it on my vkb with the adapter, otherwise i love it

@@Viper._.- Thank you for the feedback, I will definitely have a soldering video soon! Which part of the trigger module are you having trouble with?
