[All clips of people riding which were filmed in this video, were filmed in countries where it is legal to ride e-scooters on the road. Pure Electric is a global business, but that doesn't mean that the rules are the same in all countries. Make sure you adhere to your national and local laws around e-scooter use before riding anywhere public.]

It’s like a really wide deck and I like it 👍

This is the biggest surprise for most riders when they try it, they think its restricting, but then they try it.
And the rest is fun filled history!

It's cooler but it prevents you from repositioning your feet to balance your weight and perform more intense maneuvers...it's not a good idea, it makes you stiff without need...

Hey @Alfredo - We hear you, and some others have thought the same - but there's actually a lot of science, research and testing behind this new rider stance.
We've got a detailed video on it here - ua-cam.com/video/GEnnTD_zhw8/v-deo.html
But in short - feet wider apart, feet further back and lower down = lower center of gravity, which provides immensely more stability and control, when compared with traditional e-scooter designs.

@@RidePureElectric Agreed, a support center below the axles provides an advantage... but having the mass of the driver far behind the geometric center, without any possibility of repositioning... causes a dangerous overturning torque, on the axle of pitching, which causes the driver to fall backwards...from ass...I have 3 pure air scooters with 8000 km, one of them, and they are the best of the best in the normal range.... they are capable suv, don't change them so much that you spoil them....

Hi @Alfredo - Thanks for your concerns, our UK based research and engineering team have done extensive testing on the center of mass position to prevent this occurrence by design.
The motor whilst powerful enough to climb hills gives a gradual acceleration/torque as mandated by the EN17128 regulations. When combined with the lower center of gravity, this gives you significant stability while riding, hence why we developed this entirely new scooter design.

@@alfredodorado2821 in short, it’s safe as long as you don’t play around with the locked speeds. 😊
