I find the more realistic movement of louise is a stark contrast from the more stiff movements of the rest of her family. It kind of reminds me of that Simpson's pilot where that one blue haired imposter baby sitter had a much more "realistic" performance in the line exchange between her and bart when she wanted him to play a vhs tape. All this to say I find the movement difference interesting and a cool indication of how collaborative an animated production can be when you have different people of different skill sets and styles all working together.
hi erin! been following your stuff while growing up, i remember as a kid being unsupervised watching dick figures and seeing your work for the first time. i was so so fixated at how smooth the animation you put out was and now im here finding your youtube channel and finding out youve worked on bobs burgers! (and literally most of what youve worked on and posted on your channel on i came to enjoy) you just always seem to pop up from time to time for me and i think thats really cool and its awesome to see you thrive throughout the years. PLUS videos like this really help study the process you use and thats great ps we also share a same first name and i also thought that was pretty cool too

I'm in the fortunate position to occasionally pick a shot I feel I would really enjoy animating. This was one of those shots. It needed some plussing, and they let me go crazy with it.
