I always said to myself, you will never understand eren's trajectory without ever going through it. A child who was the victim of an entire system and world that no one has ever gone through, only him. Eren is the most complex and complete character I have ever seen, he is a human being who does everything that a human being can do, from the good to the bad. Eren carries so much in his own mind and soul that it is unimaginable to try to understand what he feels.
The thing is that he is so strong even after going through all that I would have definitely broken apart
this is why he is special.

That part hits deep
Eren’s sacrificial fall secured the freedom and survival of his friends, Paradise and the future of Eldia at the expense of his own life and happiness. It was always about others’ freedom, never his. Eren deserved better. Eren’s side until the end.
Naw this wasn't some Code Gease ending. Eren was straight up manipulated and enslaved by Ymir to create the circumstances that she wanted so she could get some form of closure for her own life then she removed the titans. Eren and the rest of the cast where pawns on the boards Ymir was moving around. It would have been worth it had Eren succeed in killing off the world population and securing peace for Eldians but as we saw in the extra pages, without the power of the titans to defend themselves with, the world eventually destroys eldia and presumably most of the eldians get massacred. The only one that succeeds in their goals was Ymir herself, the little girl God that was responsible for literally everything.
I mean, after the new pages came out it shows that nothing mattered, everyone on the island died, and the Titans would return because a lost boy came across a tree. His sacrifice meant nothing. It would have made more sense if he really did intend to kill everything else on the planet. Floche was right. The alliance was wrong.

What anyone thinks it's not something any character cares about in this show.
What eren doesn't care about is the price he has to pay for freedom. (Something grisha said he wouldn't have paid for it)

@@bellal320 Agree. I guess Mikasa always fought for freedom of their people along Eren and the others not knowing that she would actually have to kill marleys to achieve that. Saving humans just to kill others in order to gain freedom must be hard to swallow.
Not just for Mikasa but for the others as well. Eren accepted that earlier.

There are many friends who say that Eren is a demon, maybe it's because he said he would kill all the titans, but he turned into a titan and destroyed the world. I'm tabling a comment for the first time in a video, why is it so hard to realize what happened two months ago in the last chapters? Why did it take a turn like that after all between it’s walls it wasn’t that bad? Why after two months I can’t get right and tell me that it’s really produced it could only live 13 years after all. Why a character that doesn’t exist plays so much on a person who lives? Why does a drawing bring out all our inner emotions? Why after two months I’m still in pain and there’s a vacuum in me after that? Why? Eren tells me why? You were so kind to this boy who was stealing peace, and well you had it ... Goodbye

just realised after watching this .. Eren probably changed his plan mid-way in 4x5 AFTER hearing Willy say 'i don't want to die because i was born into this world' ..
He had initially agreed with Reiner and said 'we are the same' and it seemed like he was gonna be neutral and not go ape shit.. so that seeming CONTRADICTION is what made that scene so fucking epic ... No spoilers pls :3
