Erwin is one person i deeply respect. it doesn't matter if he's just a fictional character, i really look up to him. to me, he's real. he holds onto life somehow just to see his dream come true, but he couldn't even do that. he might seem selfish, but deep in his heart he does feel guilty about taking the lives of his comrades. he had to make a choice between his dream and saving humanity by sacrificing himself, and he chose the latter. i have never seen anyone as dedicated as this wonderful man.
