Erwin is one of the most captivating characters I've ever seen in an anime. He was honestly the character that really hooked me to Attack on Titan. It's rare that a character can be so well written and executed that just by a single look, you knew exactly what he was thinking. Took about two months to complete this and I hope I did his character justice. If you watch, I truly hope you enjoy it!

I went back to a few one piece episodes and listened to a VA that sounded like a nasally middle aged man with pitch or intonation in his voice acting. while the sub truly sounded like an old man pleading for his former subjects to not give up. the difference was...

There was never been a fictional character that I ever felt so sworn too. Vegeta is my favorite character all time & I would fight beside him... But for Commander Erwin I would fight for him.
Vegeta is one of my favorites as well as far as anime goes.
I think what makes Erwin such a good character is he is the definition of a good leader in the most extreme sense. He will ask you to do something, something horrible and hard, and stand right next to you till the bitter end.

The speech he gives to the soldiers before they die to the beast titan gives me chills and almost makes me tear up. Its so powerful. That voice actor is incredible.
