Chilly Cherry

We were able to get to a stack of fresh cherry logs so we're milling up one today on the Wood-Mizer LT15.

Very nice work Andy, there’s always a learning curve to something but I’m sure you’ll find it ! By the way being from your area you have to expect the cold ! The coldest I have seen was in the 70’s , -56

Nice looking lumber Andy. You just had to get that sap wood off the cant. I know you are not a fan of sap wood on cherry.

It's nasty stuff, dries at a different rate than the heart wood and causes warping and cracking. It's as bad as cherry pith!
