Very nice work Andy, there’s always a learning curve to something but I’m sure you’ll find it ! By the way being from your area you have to expect the cold ! The coldest I have seen was in the 70’s , -56
I remember a New Years Eve in the negative 30's sometime in the 90's. I don't mind the cold, I just wish it didn't stay so long! Thanks for watching Dale.
I admire your commitment in the cold..
More like apathetic acceptance... I could commit to the Florida Keys... 😁
Good job Andy
Thanks, Paul!
I’m tired of the cold weather. Great video.
We won't see grass (or mud) until mid-March or later, so we have a while to go up here. Thanks for watching Donnie.
Good morning, you got beautiful lumber from that cherry! I enjoyed the video. Stay warm and have a great weekend, Ben 👋😎👍
We are fortunate to have lots of cherry on our property, it's one of our favorite woods to mill. You have a great weekend too! Andy
Beautiful grain in that log. Cherry is one of my favorite woods to work with. Thanks for braving the cold so we could see it.
One of my favorites too!
Good recovery from that log, well done Andy. Keep the sawdust flying.
Brent
Thanks Brent, we have a few more logs we can reach in the snow so we're able to keep milling for a while!

Nice job. The mill did great👍🏻
Getting used to that power feed, little by little. Thanks for watching Derek.
Nice Cherry Andy
Thanks Denis, we're partial to cherry!
Nice yield Andy! Cheers!
Thanks Jeff, with a little edging once it's dry it should be some nice cherry to work with!
Nice looking lumber Andy. You just had to get that sap wood off the cant. I know you are not a fan of sap wood on cherry.
It's nasty stuff, dries at a different rate than the heart wood and causes warping and cracking. It's as bad as cherry pith!
