Omg!!!!! These questions were not at all what I was expecting!!!!!
It is amazing how of all of the American top ladies back then, it was Sasha who held the promise to be the first woman to land a quadruple Salchow during a competitive program.
Sasha enjoyed her joke.
Unfortunately, she fell short of completing it. Though she did a nice attempt during her practice though it was a difficult jump for her.
Prior to SLC, the All American Ladies Sweep as such a thing. Slútskaya of course wouldn't let them have it.
The US did it once at Worlds 1991 and one other time at another international competition that was more recent.
