It will break right at the bend if used for fencing the wrapping looked purty and tight but pull it tight with fence stretchers and it will break sooner or later been there done dat
Well it looks good, however it does depends what you need it for, and definitely how many of this you need to make ! Then it is a waste of time and material, for sure, something to note is that the stronger point still only where the 2 wires meet, and still only same points of contact as if it was done the " wrong way" all the twisting does not provide any more streng.
you know, I had a teacher in middle school in electricity class that taught us different connections of wires, this one he called it "western connection", don't know why but he explained us that each connection was for a different electric situation
There's a Wikipedia Page on the history of this joint... The full name seems to be Western Union splice, named after the American telecom corporation. I knew of it from the NASA testing that was done on it later... They're apparently fans of the joint, it's how you're supposed to join wires in a rocket now.
Ek swal hai, k agar breaker mein main wire ni ja sakti meter wali, to kia us men jor dal kar breaker men Laga sakty hen? Dosra yeh k breaker bar bar hil kion jata hai, light automatic band kion ho jati hai? Kia us jor wali wire ka issue hai?
If that is steel wire it is very low alloy and annealed to a dead-soft state. You sure can't twist most electric fence wire that way because it is too stiff and strain hardens the first time it is bent.
You have fingers tougher than steel wire. Wire twisting skills are outstanding too.
You are uploading very useful videos bro... Thanks for best videos... Keep it up
Wao very amazing super effective and informative video because of your vlog tutorial I got some knowledge from you

Apart from the background noise, a great vid.
About the joint you have clearly explained but need a safety because our staff are professional so he is doing that work on live line ....
Good job
Just use the proper connectors.alot quicker and no bending.

In case no other utensils then use this alternative method to make things more easy
That's a Western Union splice. I was taught that method back in the 80's
Is it taught in electrician school

Nice video idol
Thnak u so much sir 😇

Good idea! but remember time is money.
A stitch in time saves nine!
Nice!👌🏾
Good Work
Thanks
Another option: use a third wire. (In México: "MADRINA")
Lot off nice joint
After some period here spark accurs and complain not proper voltage pass through this wire
Ye jass (aluminium) wali wire nhe he?
Quedo bien calentado ese alambre.

Super videos
Bahut khub
Good video
Trabalho informativo, muito bom, tmj

We're to get this type wire and name of the wire
heloo sir ...plz tell me what gage or thickness of wire is, which you use for that purpose
Probably 2.5 square millimeters.
Thank you for this.
True shit
Meaning you are telling to use more wire for the joint. What to waste more???😂
Keep such ideas to yourself 😉😉
That guy has nothing better to do
True!!
@@mrkps1986 Thanks buddy, i had seen this a year ago 😂🤣
Diameter of that wire? Pls reply.
Thank's now i kmow about
😁😁👍💜
No hate, just saying that the wire looks like aluminum not steel

I believe this is called the "western union" twist. A method used to repair telegraph lines.
This type of joint is called Brittania joint.Yes this was used to attend the snapped telephone/telegraph aerial lines used in those days in India.
My luck I would go to all that trouble only to have it break in the middle
10mm ki wire pe nahi lagega ye
Show de bola parabéns👏👏👏👏🖒🖒🖒🖒
Good technique
Cool 😎👍👌💯🙏🙏❤️

Doesn't do the same thing. That double coil wrap is for splice not for tightening a wrapped bundle.
Nice bro
Zabrdast..🌹
The best
Tebrik ederim
I use the gripple thing
Iss joint ko kya kahte h
background waly music ka name bata de koi
Thanks
Did I do it wrong? I made barbed wire on accident
That's good idea
👌👌
Thank you
Song name plz
Super
Ye joint bhi Mai college Mai banaya hai

Nice
Not to be rude but that's NOT how you make an electrical connection, you use the proper connector, btw, all the twisting is doing absolutely nothing
poserwannabe this has nothing to do with electrical connections lmao
@@MorrisDM91 exactly... LMAO
How to do it for electrical connection bro?
@@juanchicruz6551
We use compression fittings
