I’m using SE 2022 1.5 years and it’s very cute and speedy. I love small phones
Then get a iphone 13 mini. The SE is overpriced trash.
@St_AngusYoung I spent small amount of money. Around $260
possibel to get in £120 range in uk
damn, you're going through them fast. Awesome video btw!
I have one of these as a back up phone to my iPhone 12 Mini. Sometimes I just switch my sim to enjoy that classic iPhone experience.
Bought a new one 2 months ago. Very happy with it as I’m using as primary phone.
I just watched your video abt iphone x and iphone se 2020. And this video is now here, 👌🙌
I remember when I upgraded from my 5C to a 7, it was a nice upgrade. And that said this form factor is all I know meaning I don’t see it as being old and use my phone quite a lot. I did just wish it had better camera system..
The battery is pretty solid in my opinion too . Noticeable upgrade for my iphone.
Literally just got mine in the mail just now off Amazon. Im used to plus size phones, but the clunker (8+) im using is basically dying, so using the the SE for a coupla years is a perfect bridge to whatever comes out in a few years. Also i hate having no button and this will buy me a few more years of putting off learning it.
I think I want one just to have, I’m going back to a 12 mini but the speed of the SE is just so much nicer
my first gen se just started flashing the apple logo yesterday morning. went to apple, cooked motherboard no reset. picked up a red se to replace.
I LOVED my SE 2016. Regardless of being small, I had a defender otter box on it and it was dummy proof. Just a rubber block and I loved it. I love my 3rd gen as well. Basically an iPhone 8 new gen for cheap
could you do iPhone 13 mini next please? great video as always Techno
For me, i will choose this phone because it's crazy to think that this old chassis phone has a powerful chipset that apple put, and no other phone brands did that... That's why i like this phone, and also this phone balances your lifestyle to tech and to real life... I never had any option to buy higher specs phone, not because i cannot afford, BUT it's the usability of it, and it's very easy to hold and handy, with a blazing fast performance...
It's May 2024, and I just bought an iPhone SE. Love it so far! I know I'm in the minority, but I also bought the iPad mini at the same time. So, I use the iPad Mini for most of my tasks, except for strictly phone things or when I need to use it right away. I still love the design, including the home button. Even the display is better than I expected. Smaller screen also has a naturally higher resolution btw.
First!! I feel like it’s been a while since I have been able to get first comment on this channel. However, I’m still your biggest fan 😘
Hi. I love my SE3 exception the battery Life and the brightness that is to low outside.
For once someone doesn't say, omg the design is so old! I'm a simple tech person. i I used a 4S from 2016 until the SE 2 came out. I was so happy they released another one, at the time I used an iPod touch 7 for updated apps along side my 4S. Now i upgraded to the 3rd gen and love it more then the SE 2. I use my 2nd gen SE for all my YT videos
I have one from 2020 and still use it as an “iPod touch.” It’s great for its size. Phones are way bigger than most of us need. I miss the 4s and 5 size.
I do the same with my disabled SE3 haha. Syncs to air pods and sounds great. The camera is also insanely stable for extreme close ups of nature. It's nice and light for a jog
Yesterday I bought the SE3, the nostalgia hit me hard. The only downside is the screen size, I’m gonna need some time to get used to it since I’m coming from iPhone 11. This will be my daily driver until iPhone 16 Pro comes out. In any case I’m keeping the SE3 since it’s the last iPhone to feature the iconic iPhone 6/7/8 design and the Home button.
Yeah the screen size is crazy. My brother handed me his 12 pro max and it felt like a tablet
still using an original SE
I hate all these big phones 😢
4:43 my video froze when the camera app was 1/2 open but the audio kept going and i thought you were just being hella sarcastic about the speed lol
imo they should just make the old mini lineup the next SE model.
haha, that actually would have been really clever.... Too bad I am not that clever haha
They should have included night mode on this phone
When Apple launched this phone, I was so mad because they INCREASED the price even though they were using the same old iPhone 8 design..atleast they could’ve kept it at the same $400 price tag..
But on the other hand, for the new SE I really want Apple to keep the home button because it’s so iconic and works so flawlessly..
Maybe they should make 2 models, one with the old iconic design at a lower price, and one with a new whatever design at whatever budget price they want..
I owned the se 2020 and 2022. I loved these things so much. The size was just so nice and the processor is blazing fast. If you don’t mind the design this is a great little phone. Personally I will never not love these phones.
me too, all a person really needs.
I bought it 94 bh at 170usd couple of days ago
Was it worth it??
$150 brand new at Walmart with straight talk and after 60 days of service with them they unlock it very awesome deal in my opinion I just bought it myself coming from the iPhone SE 2020 2nd gen which was still very capable as well even today
i'm thinkin' of upgrading to this phone. does anyone know how much it'll cost to upgrade?
I like this iPhone
Best secondary iPhone to use but
3 things I hate its
1.Product red its darker than SE2 which I love.
2. Battery is very poor .
3. Heats so much.😮
I’m wonder how long can my 6.1 iPhone 15 phone, battery and software will last! 🤔
You probably weren't around when the only thing guys bragged about having the smallest was their cell phone. I went from a 6s to an 11 and now back to the SE3. Never liked the 11 from day one. At 73, I only want a decent phone, quickie camera, mail and messaging. The smaller size is perfect. Sits on a wireless charger at night playing good night music for 45 minutes.
I bought my aunt one of these to replace her iphone 6s that was dying as a Christmas gift. I got it at walmart for $150. I also have one thats unfortunately carrier disabled, it makes for a great 2022 iPod touch, lol. Cant suck you in with no service 😂
I have the latest 15 Pro and still daily use the SE 3 over it
I just got this phone in white. I want ro see a video of you using it for a week
Only thing I regret about it is the battery life… rarely enough to get through a day
I had the se 2nd weeks ago and got myself iphone 11.
149.00 brand new from Walmart on straight talk, or 99.99 on total by verizon. Phone will get unlocked after 60 days of active service and then you can take it anywhere. Such a great deal!
Yup. I got mine on Black Friday for 49 bucks, got a month of service on Total, than waited for the unlock to put it on Metro.
Tbh it’s bad bang for buck in relation to how much other iPhones cost but price aside it’s an absolutely awesome phone. I’m a huge fan of the home button and light design
I would recommend this as the bare minimum iPhone model to get. Reason: the Qualcomm Snapdragon X57 modem, which means the phone support 3GPP NR 5G connectivity. That's why I'm not much of a fan of any regular iPhone model older than the iPhone 12, since they don't support 5G.
Possible to get this model in £120 in UK
Got this phone last year as I don't need a glitzy smartphone as I don't have a job that requires it, and go to school.
I hope iPhone 14 products Red ♥️ come back with iPhone SE-4 (notch looks boring)😁
I love the size of the phone but not the battery life . But you cannot have a large battery In a small phone
Have you ever used it? SE 2022 has great battery life
Yes I have it now. When having used phones with 5000mah battery it is hard to adjust to a smaller battery. But I much prefer the size of the iPhone se@@kusov4748
You could buy this phone for $149 and get it unlocked after two months. It's a good value.
Its great its like 160 on black market
It’s Back Market. Black Market sells guns.
Specs to price, it's bad value but it gets the job dkne for most people. The kind of people who aren't spec sheet hungry.
Me with my iPhone 7 Plus
Recently got one for just 152$ and I'm really happy with the performance, this phone is made for those who are using Android and wants to experience iOS.
That's correct I'm getting one about nextweek. How is the experience
@@ungrateful2007 sorry for the late reply but my experience with this phone is neutral. Not too bad not too good either, the problem I've faced are the network connectivity where u can't force 5g only mode like Android so it keeps switching between 4g and 5g and I play games a lot so the display size makes is hard for me during gameplay. The keyboard experience feels slower. Other than that app optimizations are top notch.... Also u can sideload 3rd party modded apps if u know how to but it's not that simple.
@@ansuma1 thanks
@@ungrateful2007 my pleasure
which one is better in terms of video vs iPhone 12 mini
12 mini, the wide angle rear camera is very important to me
0:02 of course it’s worth it the iOS 17 and 18 support but it’s not worth it if you can’t sacrifice the full display iPhones
Thats why the 12 / 13 mini exist..
Dude I got this phone for $40 bucks and I don’t even think it was worth it for how much it keeps glitching out
Glitching out? I haven't seen any of that
welp, $40 bucks...
The SE 2 and 3, Xr and 11 are important for the 10% of us that can’t use OLED due to PWM, even more so as it sounds like the SE 4 will be OLED. As for the SE 3, I wouldn’t buy new. Far too pricy!
So what happens when every phone apple makes has OLED and those other phones begin to age out? Find something on Android?
@@techno_eclipse Android? Yuck! Yes I know 10% doesn’t sound much, but that’s MILLIONS of customers! Me, I’m still happy on my 8 Plus that I’ve had from launch. Love the 16:9 1080p screen. Besides, you know any Android phones not using OLED?
@@techno_eclipse PWM - all modern OLED iPhone screens can be replaced with LCD versions.
@@techno_eclipseYeap, I just got the se3 last month and will be rocking it until they make a new display tech without PWM.
When shopping around I even kept Android in mind but like you mentioned it’s all OLED anyways
Which is really quite disappointing because I love the OLED since 2015 with my TVs. Darn shame they didn’t get it right on phones
Slow down……
If there are so many compromises choosing an Android is the best.
You should go on a hiking trip with this phone. If you don't regret it then there's a problem.
What android phone would you suggest?
Older flagship.
1. OnePlus 8 (2020)
2. Samsung S21(2021)
3. Samsung Note 20 ( 2020)
Midrange.
1. Pixel 6a (2022)
2. Nothing phone 2a (recently launched)
Wouldn't suggest Xiaomi or Oppo (Chinese) as it's regional availablity varies.
It's not.
This phone sucked from the day it was released... Very bad value for money
It’s a great value when you wait a couple years and buy it refurbished for much cheaper.
If you buy it used I think the value depends on what matters to you. If you want updates and performance, it’s great. If you want it to look cool and have a great display and camera, it’s not.
@@tatedehaanmusic3076 I guess I’m one of the few who still really like the design of the SE. It’s classic, timeless… If they still sold it in Jet Black I would rather use it than a 15 pro.
You think I don't look cool with this phone? This is news to me 🤣
It’s good if all u want is a home button
It was never worth it. The phone is trash. If I wanted a phone that looks like an iPhone 8, then I'd buy an 8. Get an 11, 12, 13 or 15. They offer far better value than the SE.
The iPhone design peaked with the 8, the newer models with multiple cameras and old-school clunky edges just looks so lackluster. The advantage of the se is having peak design with modern software and chips
What about 14
I can get a iPhone 13 mini for the price of se
Get the 13 mini!
I really miss the home button
