@@TommyLGarage Only avg. 45mpg but torque makes up for it @ 260hp,, but not the sound. I can get front flaps from UK but no rears, any ideas or recommendations? Thanks.... Keep the Vids coming, if not a diesel one for the "crack"!

They look good Tommy, I run the Burgers too, 12mm on my M5, love them. Burgers will include the wheel alignment tool which helps when putting the wheel back on. It helps to line everything up and not accidentally hit the calipers. Your car looks great!

Add a little anti-seize lubricant to the spacer when placing on the hub. Helps with removal when needed

I'm running 15mm all around - ECS spacers, no problems, Wish i could run 18 or 20 maybe , maybe one day....

Not at all. I’ve driven it over various terrain and had zero issues.
Now the mud flaps come in even more handy. Looks great

If not properly there are very few or non-negatives. The biggest one I can think of is making sure you don’t curb your wheels soon as they stick out a little more now

Looks perfect now. I'm using H&R spacers since 3 years without having issues with being unable to remove, I always use a little anti seeze. And about being safe: We are allowed to use them in Germany after having them checked (for rubbing etc) by the Tüv so they must be safe, otherwise we wouldn't be allowed to put them on our cars - just like many other things
Great to hear!
I use a small film of anti seize on the back of the spacers and have never had an issue getting them off. Every time the wheels come off I clean and reapply to be safe.
V V I second that. I use anti seize on the mating surfaces and the spacers come right off without tools.
Great video mate, I have an M140i and have 15mm spacers on the rears and 12 on the front, makes the car look more aggressive. I was told that in the UK if the tyre wall protrudes beyond the wheel arch the car will fail its MOT, not sure how true that is? By the way, I think your M3 looks amazing.

I ran 12mm all around and it was perfect.

No alignment needed with spacers.

No spacers is essentially stock. 15 to 18mm is little difference.

I did some testing and they are not even close to rubbing . There’s plenty of room for them to go in and tuck in nicely

I am undecided because my rear tyres are 285 wide already and I think your 19" alloys are 275 wide. I was thinking of either 12-15mm due to the already wide 285's? What do you suggest bro?
I was very happy with 12mm spacers all around when I had 666 wheels. And honestly they are all similar. Burger tuning spacers are great.

It depends on the wheel offset really.

Look is perfect. Those mud flaps are a must before making such an aggressive stance. How is the tire life compared to OEM? Would think the camber that comes on the car from the factory would cause tires to wear at a faster pace with such a large spacer. 🤷♂️idk
Yes the tire wear is bad but I accelerate the wear even more with constant uummmm spins lol
@@TommyLGarage After 3 years of owning the M3, hooning never gets old in the F80. I try to keep my tire purchasing down to a once a year event due to it being my daily commuter.

i put 18s on the rear of my F02. Couple of people said the bearings would have issues. Do you have an opinion about that?
Yes. Won’t have an issue. I ran spacers on each one of my cars. Never had a problem
I really need to get spacers for mine. I know you you drive yours 365, do you remove the spacers when you put your winter wheels and tires on? I imagine the spacing is different when you do.
Offset is the same so spacers stay on all the time :)

I had no rubbing with 18 front and rear

How much do these spacers weigh? It's adding weight in a very crucial spot (sprung and rotational weight)...
They're super light - negligible if you ask me but a valid point indeed

You need to coat a thin layer of anti seize before you install rotors, spacers, and anything that will be under pressure and will be removed.
I just had bad luck with anti-seize in the past. Maybe I used to much
@@TommyLGarage Only a thin layer, otherwise it will sling onto the insides of the wheels and rotors...not good.
Hubcentric spacers are perfectly safe. It's the regular spacers that don't have hubs built in that are unsafe.

i drive 15mm in front and rear with the oem 19“wheels but i dont like spacers. the handling doesnt feel good in my opinion. i look forward to buy some wheels with good fitement. especialy for the front

hi. i have a 2007 320d bmw m sport , ive just bought bmw mv1 alloys with 8 width rim 235/40/18 tryes front and 8.5 245/40/18 . i was running stock wheels with 225/45/17 front and .255/40/17 tryes, . can you advise which size spacers to use, if ive measured right i have 40 mm gap . the offset is 13mm diference when i input figures on will it fit .com cheers colin

I like your DIY’s but this one is way off man. You never ever hammer on the spacers. If the surface is cleaned properly you will never need to hammer them on. I have always used high temp anti seize grease on the mating surface and never ever had an issue removing or installing the spacers. They just slide on and slide off. The manufacturer explicitly states never to hammer them. If you wire brush and prep the surface properly, add some high temp grease, they will just slide on with hand pressure. And when it comes time to remove them they come off easily. And Rogue Engineering makes the beat spacers. They don’t use any notches but instead have a gap around the full circumference. Made of aluminum, they are the lightest ones you can find.

Installation Information
The hub surface upon which the wheel spacer will be mounted should be adequately prepared before installation. This means all surface corrosion should be cleaned with a wire brush or steel wool to ensure a clean surface. A thin film of grease or anti-seize compound on the face of the wheel hub will aid in the future removal of the spacer. The spacer should slide over the hub without being forced. Using a hammer, mallet or other "tools of persuasion" on the wheel spacer for installation is not recommended and immediately voids any product warranty.
