The best part of elk hunting for me is the look on my wife's face when we get close enough to smell the elk and hear them stompin around!!! The expression is priceless, pure excitement!!! Great video guys!👍
Thank you! And you’re so right!
The best part of elk hunting is hiking your ass off to see some of the most beautiful country there is and hoping like hell there is elk in the direction your hiking.
Hahaha amen to that!
Everything about elk hunting is my favorite from the chase to the bugles.but the best is doing it with my family the smiles excitement makes it all worth while.
Favorite part is the grind to find the spot that feels right and locking it in , love from north idaho
Favorite part hands down is the idea of trying to become one of the elk. Its not just stalking, you try to fit in!!
Amen!
Great video but once again, Jeff dropping the f bomb. Easy enough to edit it out so that my whole family can watch your great hunts. Not being a whiner but it just makes sense to me as a father of young kids that are into the hunts with me. Thanks!
Understood, we’re working on that!
@@PNWild you really don’t seem to be. None of your latest videos are any better.
Best part of elk hunting for me is the anticipation. Whether it's pre season scouting anticipation, just spotted a nice bull anticipation, or the anticipation of a delightful elk steak on the smoker.
My favorite part of elk hunting is just being able to get away from daily life and enjoy our creator's awesome creations!
Love that!
Family and friends gathering for elk hunting it bring everyone together and the harvest bring everyone back together to process I have a son now that someday down the road I will share these memories with!
Best part of elk hunting is pushing yourself to keep going.
Gorgeous country, ups and downs of hunting man cool thing is no matter the outcome you'll always walk away with something positive!😎🤙
Amen!
Been hunting elk for 30 years. My favorite thing about elk hunting is time in the mountains with family doing what we all love!
Amen man!
Best part is spending time with friends and family
I don't have a best part of elk hunting because I haven't started yet but I do plan to start. One of my favorite parts about watching elk hunts is hearing how vocal they are.
My favorite part is having a bull scream in your face. There is nothing else like it.
Amen!
Nothing like crazy conditions on terrible “Ro Ads” to give you the pucker factor.
I think we’ve all been there on a hunt once or twice!
Enjoying the content, keep up the good work!
Amen man! Haha thanks again dude!
The best part I love about elk hunting is when you know your in elk by the smell in the air.
Good luck PNWild crew in 2022
Best part would be taking new hunters into the woods. Bringing people into hunting and conservation is what I do every year.
I just moved to Idaho to get more of an opportunity to start hunting elk. I’m really excited to learn a skill that I can pass down to my kids. I think that’ll be my favorite thing.
That’s what it’s all about man!
Best part of elk hunting is being with my friends and family and doing the grind of elk hunting every year.
My favorite part about elk hunting is spending time with great people and enjoying the great outdoors!
No way I can say one specific part is my favorite. I love everything about it, from pre season scouting, sitting at camp with friends and family sharing stories and the chase of such an amazing animal. At the end of the day I want to be able to harvest a animal so I can sit down at the dinner table with my family and watch the smiles on their faces when they fill their bellies.
The best part of hunting is most definitely taking in all the beautiful nature !
Love it
Pretty country and way to keep grinding. My favorite part of elk hunting are the miserable at the time experiences with friends, you never tell stories of the easy hunts.
My favorite part of elk hunting is calling in bulls for people and seeing the excitement it bring them. Nothing better then screaming bulls in your face! Another great video Jeff.
My favorite part of elk hunting is the daily grind spit up by great conversations and beers around the fire.
Very new to elk hunting so my favorite part is the research and learning everything about it! thanks guys
You’re so welcome!
i honestly love getting out into the woods and focusing on the pursuit letting the stresses of the outside world all melt away
Best part of elk hunting is just being out there with friends and family having a good time and making memories that's what it's all about and getting one is just icy on the cake awesome video keep up the good work 👍🏽
My favorite part is the story that comes with every hunt.. they're all different, from scouting to cutting meat. I love every second. Thanks for doing the give away! An honor to win a call! Can't wait to use it!
Best part of elk hunting is those early morning hikes with some coffee. Hoping to hear the first bugle
Amen man
My favorite part about elk hunting or hunting in general, is the adventure. Everytime you get out of the truck and start hiking you never know what your going to find.
Best part of my limited elk hunting experience, is the interaction with the elk and having them talk back.
Awesome video!! Elk hunting reminds me of family!! Many years of hunting trips, sleeping in wall tents, listening to the wood crackle and pop in the wood stove. Listening to family members that are now gone tell stories of “the old hunting days” and how awesome it was!! I carry on what I learned from them and I teach every new hunter those ways to keep the skills alive!!! I live for this! Every year the night before opening day I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. You guys rock! Stay safe out there brothers!!
That’s a great unit. I drew the late rifle tag about 13 years ago. Bulls in that unit tend to like those mahoganies and junipers.
The new people I’ve gotten to meet over the years is my favorite part of elk hunting. From turning 1 hunt to 5 and becoming friends on after. Amazing, it’s more than just a hunt.
That’s one of my absolute favorite part of hunting! Meeting new people and adventuring new places.
The camaraderie during the hunt is always great to see. Good times spotting, stalking, and around the camp fire. Oh, and "I need a Busch Light..." always makes for a good laugh.
Great video. Always enjoy a great hunting video. Elk hunting late season in the wild is HARD.
Another one for friends and family. It’s always the best to have a good camp.
Couldn’t agree more
The excitement leading up to my first elk hunt later this year has been my favorite part so far. I’m looking forward to the grind and being out in the woods with my hunting buddies!
Thanks for the great content. My favorite part of hunting is just being in the woods.
You’re so welcome! And amen!
Favorite part is getting into a bugle argument with a amped up bull
Absolutely!
The best part of hunting for me is spending time together with my wife and son.
Some day I will try with a muzzleloader, great video guys!!
Best part of elk hunting for me is just being out in elk country.
Can’t argue with that!
Favorite part of elk hunting is time spent with good people and never knowing what will come thru the trees
The hunt and the stalk
Amen
Great video!
Thank you!
This video has me so pumped for hunting season this year! Thanks for all you guys do.
I may be one of the outliers... but I love getting up at the crack of dawn and loading up the truck and getting up to the mountain. I am jacked when I hit the trail.
No matter where I've hunted there is always an unexpected thing that happened. I believe it's something I never get tired of which I am always learning from those experiences. I love your videos and thanks for sharing the flat tire (an unexpected experience). It's all part of the joy of hunting 😀
not gonna lie, I listened to the podcast where Jeff talked about this hunt before I had time to sit down and watch the videos and I'll tell ya what, the videos tell the same story. The experience you gain and the lessons you learn from hunts like this stick with you forever. not to mention you got yourself a pretty sweet elk spot over there in Idaho now! keep up the awesome work boys!
Thanks so much! Appreciate you watching and listening!!!
Never been elk hunting but watching y’all video gets me excited to even go out and get one. Love the videos keep it up!
Thank you! You should Definitley try it!
Great hunt guys! That's some beautiful country. I think my favorite part of elk hunting is challenging a rutting bull that wants to fight. It's super exciting calling and closing the distance, and then putting an arrow in him before he runs you through!
Dude thanks so much for watching and giving feedback! Means a lot! Thanks again Roy!
Best part of elk hunting is disconnecting and hiking gods country with some of your best friends!
Looks like a great hunt! Can’t wait to get out west this year and start my own hunting adventure! Best part of elk hunting is hearing them bugle!
Thank you!
Great content, love yours and sarongs channel!best on ytube.you guys have good old fashion ethics
Looks like you guys had a blast. Great looking country need to hunt Idaho. Pro Tip😆 air down those tires to gain a little grip.
Hahah it was a fun hunt! Haha noted!
Hahaha 🤣 buckle up the binos and guns!! Haha
Hahaha Jeff’s a goof ball!
My favorite part is the ride to elk camp with all the excitement to come. Which is usually followed by a quite, long trip home empty handed 🤣.
PS-Jeff you need to set the correct date in your pickup, it's not 2004 anymore bud!
I love the country in that valley. I had to run to IF this year when my bowsite snapped on the first day of my hunt.
There are too many great parts to pick just one. Being with my huntin buddies, the scenery, the challenge and the meat I get are all my favorite parts
Those are all solid perks to elk hunting!
My favorite part of elk hunting is elk Backstrap fresh of the Traeger!
Favorite part? Definitely having the famous Clint Bayless lol
Favorite part is blaming Clint for the flat tire lol !
Hahaha
To find the nice bull to shoot
Is my favorite part
Best part is getting out of town and into the woods. Now I just need to get close enough to shoot one of the damn things lol
Apparently if I ever draw a moose tag I’m gunna have to get you to tell me where this was 🤩
Hahahaha yes
Great video as always looking forward to the next video. I havent gone on an elk hunt yet but it is in the books for this year. Watching videos like yours gets me jacked up to go give it a try.
My favorite part of elk hunting is the scouting part! Put in some good scouting but still have only had close calls with a bow! One day it will be my time!!!! Happy hunting
O dang I know Scott lol winner winner chicken dinner lol
Gotta love me some peanut butter whiskey!! These were my first 2 videos I’ve watched from you guys and overall I am very impressed! Love the sharing of not just the good stuff but the daily grind you went through whether in the truck lol or on the mountain!! Good to see there is still good people in the world too. Thanks for sharing.
Dude so good! And thanks so much for the positive feedback we really appreciate it. We try hard to share everything even the not so sexy stuff… but it happens and it’s real life. Thanks for watching man!
Oh man. I’ve been there and it’s just so heartbreaking to think you’ve notched your tag and then never finding it.
:/
Can’t say I have a favorite part yet but I’ve been doing a ton of research and slowly getting gear together and I’m pumped to go out for my first elk season this year!
Frankly. I’ve never hunted elk.
I’m a newer hunter in general and eastern Washington deer have more rifle seasons so I’ll prolly stick with deer for the time being. Definitely wanna get up and chase elk though. 🤙
My favorite part of elk hunting is eating them haha
My favorite part has to be making the stock on them and playing the wind. It makes you feel like the apex predator that we are. Thanks for the videos guys great job
Good, video,
Well I haven’t went elk hunting yet, but I’d have to say my favorite part of elk hunting would have to be glassing them up and making a stalk on them like I’d do with almost every animal
Everything about elk hunting is my favorite part!! Lol I love archery hunting them and calling them in for someone else that's the best part. I'll never kill one bigger than I already have so my next goal is to get a mature bull with my recurve and get my lady her first bull and first archery kill..great videos thanks for the entertainment.
I gotta say my favorite part is getting way the heck out there, away from everyone else!
Drinking whiskey and busch light at camp at night
Have never elk hunted but I am going to Montana State University and hope to get a tag in 2022!!
Elk me me next August thanks for the episodes, gets the blood pumping. Mick
WA boys getting challenged by ID roads in snow! 😆
Did you get a Tag for 2022? Awesome videos as always.
Genuinely shitty of you to take wood like that and not replenish it. Especially when theres multiple grown men that could make their own firewood. Could mean the difference of life and death to somebody that's lost.
It was left behind from campers at a camp site off a main road?
Hold up, I may be missing some context here, but... you shot a bull. You didn't shoot it well enough and didn't recover it, but you shot it. Why didn't you punch your tag?
It wasn’t a fatal shot, we saw it the next day. Made another stalk on him and got to 150 and got busted. Watch episode two if you’d like more context on that situation.
@@PNWild Thanks for taking the time to clarify!
@@davidtetrick6664 you bet man, sorry for the confusion
Your video isn’t 2 minutes of intro epic. Too long.
Sorry. Y’all are really not elk hunter.
