Right!? I was surprised the video was so dismissive of Worlds of Fun. There’s active land clearing and building permits for a wooden coaster for the 50th season, which is next year. I’m guessing the creator hasn’t kept up with all the Worlds of Fun news, which is fair. It’s often overlooked.
To be honest, I made this video before a lot of it surfaced. I still think it’s a possibility they push back to 2024, do you guys think it’ll be 2023 or 2024?
@@coasterking836 my guess is 2023. Because of the “Project 50” in the permits and next year being the parks 50th season. I don’t think the lack of teasers from the park is any indication. The park is focused on selling 2022 season passes by marketing Grand Carnival. It would make sense to wait for the 2023 season passes to go on sale before teasing next years addition.
If it’s a large coaster like a RMC or something, I feel like it makes more sense for 2024 sadly, but the Project 50 could mean it’ll open next year. Maybe they announce it as a part of their 50 year celebration? Let’s hope for 2023 either way
Carowinds is renovating their crossroads section snd getting 4 new modern thrill rides. The area is apparently gonna be aviation themed. But we can’t rule out an rmc conversion of hurler or a gci moser wooden coaster either.
The project on mamba was last year. To do some part issues is the reason it got pushed clear into this year. Also next year is a 15th anniversary for the park and there's already plenty of land clearing as well as multiple permits that have been approved by the city. So yeah you have no idea what you're talking about.
@@coasterking836 worlds of fun is getting a new coaster next year. My sister works for an engineering firm who is working on the project and she has seen the blueprints but cant tell me anything because she signed an NDA.
Could be - we’ll have to see how It plays out. Likely we see sub 100 oil prices next month or two, could help out some supply chains. I think well also see some more stimulus packages come from Biden, which should bring consumers to entertainment and parks. But you’re right it’s not pretty and Cedar Fair isn’t going big this yesr
I would love my home Dorney Park finally great prodject 2020 our shuttle coaster but I'm sad to say the park has not put it back in front of South Whitehall Township for its final approval
@@coasterking836 maybe but definitely not 2023 as like I said Dorney Park has not put it back in front of the township and the plot of land aka from home of stinger no sign of anything happening the only change in that area this past fall/winter was removed trees and replanting of trees close to Dorney park road
Worlds of fun has public permits for a new wood coaster, they've already started clearing land 😀 hoping it's an rmc or titan tracked coaster

It’s probably a great area for a aviation theme sense it’s by afterburn
I wonder what the thrill rides could be

You will be lucky to get an ice cream stand and you should be thankful if you do the way the economy is looking now.
