The perfect coaster for gilroy gardens would be a spinning 4D strata LSM backwards launched motorbike coaster. It'd fit very well with the the rest of their thrill rides.
If I was to give my home park Carowinds anything I'd totally go with a dive. I rode my first one up in BGW and I fell in love with Griffon. Yeah I can see them being a one trick pony but I loved even ride I had. A wing would be great too!
I’d like to see Kings Dominion get a B&M Invert AND a Wing Coaster. A Wing can serve as a replacement for Volcano, and maybe when Anaconda eventually gets the axe, they should replace it with a B&M Invert. If not a B&M Invert, maybe a Vekoma STC. I would also like to see a B&M Giga at Worlds of Fun. The park has plenty of open space, and it’s shocking that Cedar Fair hasn’t added any new coasters to the park in over a decade, so a B&M Giga would be a good start. Plus I’d love to see a park that has both a Morgan Hyper AND a B&M Giga. Valleyfair really stands out as one of the few Cedar Fair parks with NO B&M coasters whatsoever, not to mention they have only one coaster with inversions, which is an Arrow looper. If you ask me, they should get a B&M Invert, and maybe a Floorless coaster too so they can have more than just one standard Multi-looper. A B&M Surf coaster would be a nice addition as well. As for Kings Island, they should FINALLY fill in the spot where Vortex once stood, by adding a B&M Dive coaster. They can make it the tallest, fastest, longest coaster in the world, stealing the crown from Yukon Striker at Canada’s Wonderland. They can also have it feature rare and unique inversions, such as Butterfly inversion (found only on 2 Vekoma MK-1200 looping coasters) or a Banana Roll.
I like that idea. But I think they should get some sort of launch coaster instead, also as a homage to Volcano. I think Gerstlauer could do something really cool with the land plots available at Kings Dominion
This must be your version of a pipe dream. There needs to be a high ROI for anything even B&M which is why the smaller parks don’t get anything. My home park, MA, will unlikely get any coasters due to its family setting and super high profit margins and low maintenance. It would take a long time for CF to “pay for” any B&M to go there. Same for WoF, Dorney, and VF.
If a wing coaster was going in Volcano’s plot, I would say give it a launch and make it with good theming. I don’t think a lift hill coaster with minimal theming would be a well-received replacement for Volcano.
For Cedar Point, I would say a surf coaster that takes the place of Wicked Twister. yeah across the beach and most of it above the Lake. It would already have the electric needs from wicked Twister. Real surf below on a windy day.
Update: Knotts has toned down their plans for a giga to a height of 244.5 feet above sea level, with a drop of about 180 feet Edit: the height is about 165 feet off the ground, not including sea level
I mean I trust you, but would that mean the drop goes into a tunnel? KBF is already around 75’ above sea level, so that would mean it is 169.5 feet tall and that it isn’t technically even a hyper…
Would be interesting to see how you'd tackle other US parks with B&Ms, though I understand park budget would make several of these unrealistic. My home park being Lagoon, my friend group and I have a pipe dream of Lagoon getting a B&M Hyper, even though I doubt it'll ever happen.

Cannibal and Primordial are made mostly in house to cut costs, and they had on Dal Freeman as an engineer when Arrow went under (no longer the case). But I know they made massive bank last year, and would love to see something big for their next coaster.

A dive at MiA would be amazing. No new adult coaster since Thunderhawk in 08. Pretty much anything would do here though. It has CFs highest profit to cost margins and I think they are definitely ok with that, but throw us a bone over here. I’d take a dive or a hyper.
I would love to imagine one of those ultra intense and unique fliers (like the 2 you mentioned over in Asia) going to CP, one of the few crazy coaster experiences available today they don’t already have
There is a recent rumor going on about Worlds of Fun. Some land clearing being done where the old Dinosaurs area was back near Prowler and Boomerang. And with the parks 50th anniversary coming up, its definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Unfortunately, I think that any sort of hyper may be difficult for CGA. They're almost directly under the flight path into San Jose Airport with the runway just two miles away from the park, so I'm pretty sure there's a ban on structures over 200 feet tall there. Goliath at SFOG (exactly 200ft tall, but only a 170ft drop) was built under similar circumstances, so they could either just have a shorter drop or dig a hole in the ground for the drop to go into.

When it comes to Cedar Point, they should get whatever will have the highest capacity along with ride time. If they can fit a good out and back layout, I would say a Giga. If they need something that winds around the Snake River Falls area, I would say to get the flier. CP would do very well with 2 gigas.

Being that Dorney is one of my PA home parks, I like the idea of a Dive Coaster. Where Dinosaurs Alive used to be would be a PRIME location. And a tight layout Rail Coaster where Stinger used to be would be a double whammy of excitement.

I'm going to mix this up and give the 2nd flying coaster to KD instead of WoF. Yeah, I'd prefer a launched wing coaster to a flyer as a Volcano replacement. But a mirror image of X-Flight at Great America (i.e. the off-the-shelf wing coaster rumored for KD as a quick, cheap fix for the Volcano site) is a better fit for WoF than a Superman clone. If Volcano were still operating, a B&M flyer would be the perfect replacement for Anaconda.

I would be beyond disappointed if Cedar Point opened a flying coaster! Every flying coaster I’ve ridden has been painful and super restrictive. Not a fun experience and definitely can’t compare to any other B&M experience, except maybe for a standup (thankfully they’re discontinued!) lol. Give CP a B&M hyper or giga… or a surf coaster!!!
Wow perfect timing with the leaked Knott's hyper plans today. Give me a KD B&M hyper, they need floater and Dominator fills similar needs to a wing. A more modern hyper might not intrude on Apollo's.
Kings Dominion could also go the route of a hyper-twister like _Raging Bull_ at Six Flags Great America. A modern hyper-twister that mixes airtime, laterals, and fast pacing could be a good fit.
Well... today we have a rumor going around that Knott's is in fact not getting a giga at all, but a B&M quasi-hyper, actually under 200 feet like Goliath at La Ronde, but otherwise closely matching what you've imagined here. It does seem like a better fit for the park.
Worlds of Fun should get the B&M strata with a 470-ft lift hill, 130 mph and 12,000 ft of track, 10 airtime hills & downward helix in the first half, mid-course launch to get back up to 80 mph, where it switches to a blitz layout with smaller elements, ejector airtime, and 5 inversions.
Personally I think I'd rather see a wing coaster at kings island, but i suppose that would be a missed opportunity to diversify from cedar point's lineup

I like the addition of a wing coaster at Carowinds, but where would they put it? Maybe once the remove Nighthawk it could fit there nicely, or in the water rapids ride’s dead plot.
CP needs a 400 foot Super Giga B and M where Wicked Twister was. ValRvn is a great Dive, but if going B and M, it has got to be not boring, but I thought Carowinds is B and M.
Put CGA's Demon back to its 80's glory!!! Red water, lights in the first tunnel, and bring back the smoke!!! That was my home park!!! Also, bring back the whole park 80's theme when Marriott's owned it and get rid of all but one of the basketball hoops midway game!!! No more ghetto park!!! Enforce the swimsuit rule!!! i couldn't find any official source to back it up, but I'm pretty sure California's Great America has some city related height restrictions similar to Discovery Kingdom. if you look at the height of every ride there they all seem to be intentionally set at exactly 110 feet.
CGA has more flexibility with a hyper because the height wasnt the reason the hyper never fell through it was building codes plus CGA got permission permits from Santa Clara allowing them to build a hyper near 245ft the height restriction for cga is 250ft and that would be at the back of the park near psycho mouse and grizzly but a 210-225ft b&m hyper could work where the rip roaring rapids are at
I don’t get the point of adding dive coasters to parks with hypers and gigas which already have massive steep drops which will probably be better than the drops on dives anyway
I know it's not a popular opinion but I can't help to think that Knott's could do more with the money a Hyper/Giga would cost. For example clearing some space and doing multiple rides. Something like 2 coasters and 2 dark rides. Maybe like a Hyper GTX, some kind of launch coaster like a Mack Extreme Spinner, or reintroduce the Soap Box Derby? Add a couple of Sally Dark rides. That way they could advertise it as the largest expansion in history. I know the hyper/giga would create a splash which is cool but that park is so small and probably a tough sell to the city.

Plus if they did it right you know the Hyper GTX is going to exceed expectations and if the dark rides were great it could be pretty cool. Actually one of those could be a permanent nod to Haunt.
If Cedar fair was gonna get another B&M Giga it probably would be at kings dominion replacing Intimidator 305 but lets hope there is not a need for that haha
My prediction is CGA will recieve a b&m hyper of 215ft in 2024-2025 this would be 6-7 year gap since railblazer so I really believe this would be the perfect investment for CGA making Solid line up of Railblazer Gold striker B&M hyper and flight deck
Will you ever go to the uk to try rides at alton towers and other parks? As im english and think your videos dont give the best representation of all rollercoasters in the world, as ive been to most parks in the uk and europe and found that europe was better with theming and forces but america does have the "bigger" rides, just want to know if youd be visiting any europe parks
I also think a flyer at KI would be cool, a terrain one that goes through the woods, similar to Galactica. I just really want a flying Beast experience!
Cedar point really doesn’t have an elite floater airtime machine besides maybe gatekeeper or valravn, but those have the vest restraint which kills the floater part… I vote for an elite hyper, but I do think the flyer is feasible

I would just swap Flying and Surf between Wonderland and Cedair Point for the fact that Flying Coasters aren't that interesting on mostly flat ground, while the Surf Coaster sounds like it makes sense being low to the ground and near water.

I like the addition of a wing coaster at Carowinds, but where would they put it? Maybe once the remove Nighthawk it could fit there nicely, or in the water rapids ride’s dead plot.
CP needs a 400 foot Super Giga B and M where Wicked Twister was. ValRvn is a great Dive, but if going B and M, it has got to be not boring, but I thought Carowinds is B and M.
Put CGA's Demon back to its 80's glory!!! Red water, lights in the first tunnel, and bring back the smoke!!! That was my home park!!! Also, bring back the whole park 80's theme when Marriott's owned it and get rid of all but one of the basketball hoops midway game!!! No more ghetto park!!! Enforce the swimsuit rule!!! Just my 2 cents!!! Keep up the great vids!!!

i couldn't find any official source to back it up, but I'm pretty sure California's Great America has some city related height restrictions similar to Discovery Kingdom. if you look at the height of every ride there they all seem to be intentionally set at exactly 110 feet.

CGA has more flexibility with a hyper because the height wasnt the reason the hyper never fell through it was building codes plus CGA got permission permits from Santa Clara allowing them to build a hyper near 245ft the height restriction for cga is 250ft and that would be at the back of the park near psycho mouse and grizzly but a 210-225ft b&m hyper could work where the rip roaring rapids are at
Six flags discovery kingdoms height limit is 150ft because they are pretty close to the Oakland airport

I know cedar point has millennium force but I always thought that they needed a B&M hyper on the shoreline.
I don’t get the point of adding dive coasters to parks with hypers and gigas which already have massive steep drops which will probably be better than the drops on dives anyway

I know it's not a popular opinion but I can't help to think that Knott's could do more with the money a Hyper/Giga would cost. For example clearing some space and doing multiple rides. Something like 2 coasters and 2 dark rides. Maybe like a Hyper GTX, some kind of launch coaster like a Mack Extreme Spinner, or reintroduce the Soap Box Derby? Add a couple of Sally Dark rides. That way they could advertise it as the largest expansion in history. I know the hyper/giga would create a splash which is cool but that park is so small and probably a tough sell to the city.
I'm sure if they thought multiple smaller additions would benefit the park more they'd do it. Probably want that big headliner
@@AirtimeThrills That's true. I think if they did it right like creating a whole new area headlined by the Soap Box Derby it could. Plus if they did it right you know the Hyper GTX is going to exceed expectations and if the dark rides were great it could be pretty cool. Actually one of those could be a permanent nod to Haunt.

My prediction is CGA will recieve a b&m hyper of 215ft in 2024-2025 this would be 6-7 year gap since railblazer so I really believe this would be the perfect investment for CGA making Solid line up of Railblazer Gold striker B&M hyper and flight deck
Will you ever go to the uk to try rides at alton towers and other parks? As im english and think your videos dont give the best representation of all rollercoasters in the world, as ive been to most parks in the uk and europe and found that europe was better with theming and forces but america does have the "bigger" rides, just want to know if youd be visiting any europe parks

Cedar point really doesn’t have an elite floater airtime machine besides maybe gatekeeper or valravn, but those have the vest restraint which kills the floater part… I vote for an elite hyper, but I do think the flyer is feasible

I would just swap Flying and Surf between Wonderland and Cedair Point for the fact that Flying Coasters aren't that interesting on mostly flat ground, while the Surf Coaster sounds like it makes sense being low to the ground and near water.
