A twelve/thirteen year old album at that.

And when Billie Joe Armstrong has hardly performed in four years (aside from the odd festival), so he's really out of practice vocally.
They never sound like the album dude, they sound much better and energetic
It's punk, so I don't think that's really difficult to recreate the album tone.
Shout out to the guy in the back that’s just there for the “Hey” parts.

I feel their drummer is highly underrated

Allen Saunders Yep Billie Joe even said himself “Nobody leaves this band, unless it’s in a coffin”. One of the many great things about Green Day, that all of them stay together.

He actually provides keyboards for the band but in this instance there are no keyboards to be played. Therefore they didnt set it up. Besides, it's for one song and it is small in there. I can appreciate the honesty and transparency of the band.
I'm so glad I got to be alive when Green Day's making music, they'll go down as one of the greats
They already are man.
Green Day are on par with The Clash and The Ramones. They'll never be forgotten.
Make sure you see them live they put on a great show.

Same here man, kids these days don’t know real music anymore. I’m glad that I got to grow up listening to these guys. Definitely up there in the top best bands of all time.

As a guitarist I can say because when you’re making a big jump from high up to the lower frets. You wanna make sure you hit the right strings. It’ll suck to try and show off and have it sound like shit. Especially live.
That’s usually what I do when nobody’s singing. It’s so cool to see them all moving in sync.
These videos let you see how the band really sounds live without them trying to yell over the audience

When he started singing Say Goodbye in there, I was so happy, and I wish I'd get a medley with Holiday and Say Goodbye. I think those two songs will play mesh well together.

Interestingly enough, when I was younger I heavily preferred Green Day's older stuff over American Idiot, but as I've matured, just like Green Day did, I've really come to appreciate this album more.
