Ive been playing runick/horus/snake-eyes for a couple months now pre phni. The snake eyes open the extra monster zone for more runick spells, snake eyes mainly gets me to baronne and SP. Then after all the deck thinning get to imsety or king sarc and put horus monsters up. My typical end board is SP, baronne, hapi, duamateuf, fountain, king sarc, and ideally 1-3 runick spells in hands.

I've been testing and building with this deck this format actually, I didn't like the hand trap "compare hands" meta. from what I found: bonfire is a one of, with 3 thrust in side, the reasoning for this is overdrawing it off of fountain really sucks when it could be anything else, you really don't need it at all but if you want it as a thrust target post side it comes up when you side out some runicks for thrust. the consistency boost from runick alone covers the loss of 2 bonfire.
you don't need savage in this version tbh, I tested with it for along time but it's honestly better to just go for baronne and make formula later in the combo as well, so if you do use baronne you just baronne summon formula from grave and make it again.
I didn't play dharc in my build, only hiita, Instead I played raging phoenix and instead of selene I played zealantis. not for the otk, but zealantis is just an extremely good utility card for snake eye, and raging phoenix is another fire to link princess off for, as well as being as way to *not die* because the opponent going for zealantis through your interruptions is brutal and no battle phase is the biggest weakness of the deck, more ways to stall it out is better, making accesscode off of raging phoenix and then pushing lethal the instant you don't need runicks anymore is also really nice.
for main deck non engine, I played 2 talents and called by, they are the best go first or second cards to play imo and the draw power from talents comes in handy alot for any runick deck, I did consider cutting called by for monster reborn, but called by as the power spell to stop specifically droll when you are trying to break boards going second was the biggest factor to why I stuck with called by. as well as 3 enemy controller to dodge targeting effects on hugin/ash was huge, the deck spams free bodies super easily, and setting e-con is also just a good interruption, so e-con felt really strong for me. those were my 6 non engine spots.
voiceless is for sure a rough matchup tho, runick decks in general struggle against it enless you play stun, it's just a bad matchup you have to side more for than others.
Ive been playing Cydra snake-eyes in master duel, its not the best but a lot more fun to run than pure. Clockwork night deals with boards or searches Regulus if it gets outed and having Snake-eyes lets you go first or bait all your opponent's interactions if you have Cydra otk in hand.

Runick hasn't done jack shit this format until now, and Konami would love to find some excuse to say "SEE, we hit the snake-eye deck!!!" without actually directly hitting the deck. I do not want my pet deck to be a casualty this next list, its what i'm running Hungry Burger in right now lmao.

I DEFINITELY think you play the silvera trap in the runick variant. You're not trying to kill your opponent asap so silvera is just a free negate every turn.

im pretty sure that the Baronne that stays on the field (Flamberg but onfield baron to spell) doesnt regain her negate.

If you are referring to Flamberge summoning a Barone that used her negate getting pushed to the s/t, the negate will be regained. When a card changes status from monster to s/t, it is no longer considered to be the same card.
Pretty interesting to have this kind of idea on the deck, but I think you should turn around a more heavy lcoking field, using some "unfair cards" such as TCBO, Summon limit, because this version looks much more around the control side of the Snake-Eyes package.
Obviously I suggested probably the worst of the but it's a possibility for you to play these cards, TCBO could conflict with I:P if you want to go for a little knight for example but as you said, you can reset your baronne through Flamberge during your next turn so if you separate yourself of the S:P due to it's effect, you can bring the baronne again, ...
It's a very interesting choice to bring some additionnal archetypes to the mix considering it is using the same quantity of cards than the adventure package for example. Several other little things could be shiffted like ratios of certain cards, inclusion of other control cards such as the adventurer package if you start with the tuto cards that could launch you directly through the Ash Snake-Eye.
I may be a little deep on the thought process with these lines which makes it not easy to understand but I really think you have to go deeper on the control side of the build to make it perform a little more (as you said in the early video, using more Cosmic Cyclons, Harpie's feather storm, ...) against your weak match ups.
To resume, nice tech to play for fun and to masterise to make it work and definetly some time and effort to turn it the way you play specificaly, something that works for you may not work for others ;)

Yeah I would understand if it was Snake-eyes before poplar but post poplar the deck doesn't need a consistently improvement let along a "grind" game when it already has a good grind game along with forcing interactions.

Pak I'm pretty sure flamberge can't reset baronne negate. Baronne states Once while face up on the field. Baronne never leaves the field, it's still the same card, the same copy, it simply moves from monster to spelltrap zone, it won't be able to negate again.
It does reset it. It is considered a different copy of the card.

That match up is getting easier as time passes.
Talents, Kurikara, Droplets, Ash, Belle, Droll, Bystials are all killer for that matchup.
I literally took this deck to an event yesterday. The builds look a little different but its sick to see we were in a similar headspace.

Deck with snake eyes engine can't be considered sleeper
especially when it's a runik build. like the deck can already OTK really easily. why add cards that make it unable to do that. when the combos already take a long time to do. this deck is the definition of win more and unnecessary tbh. it also makes games last way longer than they need to.
with Baronne staying on the field in the spell and trap zone can you still get the negate? The card text is "Once while on the Field"
zealantis over access could help with nontarget. It also resets baron if that's a goal for this deck. only downside is without ship you don't have a fire line to it so selene is going to be your climber there. that hurts if you haven't got princess out yet for the zealantis combo. runick decks are grindy tho so its not as big a deal for this deck as it would be a standard SE. you could always side deck ship for that line if you go against a non target deck.

Couldn't you side munin, instead of sprind and scatter for time and have one extra slot in your side for time.

What does sleeper deck means ?
I actually played Runick Snake-Eye for the entirety of the Duelist Cup. I was a returner and scraped together something I thought I'd enjoy, and I did, but I couldn't even crack 10,000 points with it.
I didn't play synchros or Temple. My non-engine was 3 Maxx C and 3 Nib, which never felt wrong. I also added one Talent really late. My engine additions were Dramatic Chase and OSS Betrayal in case I got Maxx C'd, and Subversion was a late inclusion. Going first, Poplar adds it to be discarded by Hugin, allowing Wanted to draw an extra card if I had that too. I've since cut one Flamerge and a Diabellstar.
Ideally, I'd run through the Snake-Eye combo up until I had Flamberge and Ash on the field, and then summon Hugin to get Fountain. If they had a handtrap, they would have used it by now. This extra body then allows me to get Princess in grave and summon Heatsoul, which is two additional cards. And if I happened to get Diabellstar at some point, great, that's another negate from Betrayal.
It all felt really good, but like I said, I couldn't crack 10,000. Going second into big combo boards without Nib or Maxx C sucks, and sometimes when you do have them, they negate it anyway... Still got some crazy board break moments, though. Labrynth was surprisingly difficult, since I always beat it with Runick in TCG. The one Destruction really hurts. Stun's annoying as hell for the same reason. The Fountain limitation almost never mattered, and I almost never felt like I lost to Maxx C.

I don't see why people would even go for a build like this tbh. the deck already has insane consistently. and adding cards that skip your BP is pretty stupid when the deck can easily OTK. like that's the definition of win more. which Pak constantly doesn't like but I guess he's just bored and wants to make people wait 20 turns to lose.

Runick is going to be poopoo once the new Diabelze card comes out.
Nobody is maining that card when it comes out. Hypothetically if runick decks were on your radar you could side it, but even then it’s mainly only useful in certain going first hands, and SE players probably aren’t wasting side deck space to winning more matches going first when they’re already favoured.
Card is not good at least given what we know about LEDE and INFI as of today. People already hyped it up a bunch, tested it , and were disappointed.
