If they were Quick Plays he would still be shoving them in every deck. That said there's some funny Spright Engine stuff you can do with them in Labrynth, and Marella is a LOT better now thanks to Transaction Rollback always being a good mill option for it.

Besides getting demolished by Droll I like this version of the deck much more for the exact reason: it's way more fun than two people throwing hand traps until one person runs out and then gets killed by a one card combo. Your opponent does his stuff, and you have all engine to try to break them.
I think you may even consider just playing full second with this deck too, as without Omni negate Talents can be very scary if you attempt to make something like Apollousa.

With the Cosmic - IP/divine temple/Flamberge interaction, you can bait Evenly saying BP and they obviously would go Flamberge summon IP.
It can be a bit risky but might as well have it in mind

I pretty much built that exact same list (without trust and with called by instead of reborn) during first week of snake eyes, that make me feels so good to see josh playing it
The only issue I have with this list is that I'm not Josh and I would get skill issue'd so hard if I played it 😂

This deck makes so much sense, one of my friends was showing me what the fire deck was and the thing that sticks out is that they pretty much can't touch normal spells with any of their board.
Breaking board is reaaaaaally satisfying this format and I think it’s mostly due to snake eye actually being not that oppressive of a deck. A lot of interaction makes board breaking very engaging and rewarding when you’re able to win out through set ups.
I lost because I couldn’t muster up 400 more damage but this just happened for me on master duel
They go full combo, I fight through the whole field and end with 7600 damage
If you go for the zero hand trap version i would play "Link into the Vrains" as a extender but also a way to get ressources back. It's searchable with Thrust and it can help to play around Nibiru more. I play it in my Sky Striker Snake Eye deck it this card helps a lot.

@@vasilboev1383 you specialsummon a Monster from your hand with it, link it away which cannot be negated or Responded by your opponent. You also get a Monster back to your hand if your links get destroyed even if you destroy it yourself with for Example promethean Princess.

@@vasilboev1383 Sorry for the late reply, didn't saw your answer. You can banish Link into the Vrains if for example Hiita or Amblowhale get destroyed this allows your to get your Magicians Souls, Diabellstar or one of your Sky Striker Link monsters back. It's there to loop your extra deck monsters around. Or very important key monsters as long as they aligh with your extra deck monsters.
I unironically love going 2nd in YGO. Breaking boards feels better to me than trying to play combo.
That and I just don't have the time to memorize most combo paths.

watching this video and the deck creation video has inspired me to cause a little chaos of my own at locals as while i do not have access to striker cards currently one of my buddies is using them while he is gathering a core of his own and returning mine which i then may sell as i have no use for them anymore as it does not fit my playstyle anymore i think i may try a no hand trap version of my creation i call puppet master and its a mix of dogmaticka invoked shaddolls is it going to be good i have no idea lol but it will hold me over till lightsworn support comes out here in TCG as my inner gambler wants to come out and play and maybe this time i won't bubble 3 regional events in a row

One question: in General a lot of players in regionals play Stun decks? Im really happy with my side deck package, but i dont play cosmic clones or lightning storms, cause i like much more handtraps to play.
But i know this could be very riskful vs such Stun Decks..
This is what Yugioh should be. Instead of stopping your opponent from playing, both players should always be playing the entire time.

Some quick questions, you said the random Sky Striker with a downward arrow didn't really matter, which is mostly true. But wouldn't it be slightly better to replace Kaina with Hayate? Hayate can attack directly, which might come up due to time in the TCG, right? (not a TCG player, only an MD pleb).
Also, what are your thoughts on Foolish Burial Goods (FBG) + Metalfoes Fusion (MF) instead of Magician's Soul (MS)? I feel that with MS you will often have to send valuable resources, but with FBG + MF that is different. When you draw FBG and dump MF it basically functions as a Upstart. But when you draw MF there are a couple of ways to get it into the grave (Droplet, Diabell) for an additional draw 1. You will lack the body that MS provides though, and you will run 2 additional cards instead of the single MS.
Yep, this may not be the best build of Snake-Eyes(at the moment COPIUM), but it does well enough into blinds at least(or Bo1 ladder in MD's case). The siding for these kinds of decks after your first win is always annoying though, since it can often be unpredictable whether they want to make you go first or second so you have to run a bunch of "turn netural" board breakers to be safe, and many of those aren't as high impact as the Normal Spell board wipes.
I had a similar experience at vegas 40 card traptrix turbo no hand traps in the main it was so fun playing
Is this pretty much all available on MD? Well, if you can't get the deck RL (I can't) then MD might be a good call). Its missing Bonfire (which is basically being replace by Wherfore at 2k pay) and SP (which can be that Access Code).
I was playing almost that same spell/sky striker engine just I was playing 3 canon 3 widow anchor and it was ripping snake-eyes players up. I wasn't playing snake-eyes myself though.
And yeah same exact thing as far as fun goes. People were having way more fun playing vs me. I was having way more fun playing vs people.
Hand traps honestly just make the game so unfun lol
I don't know if it is because Josh has already won many times that he is more relaxed than other players, but I really like his approach to have fun while competing specially in a format that is not enjoyable for everyone. 👍🏻

I have a question. What is your board if you ever go first? I mean without amblowhale, the going 1st plan seems underwhelming.
I think the right approach is to do play hand traps, but instead of ones that only stop plays that are useless when drawn, maybe play ones that are good at helping breaking boards or stopping opponents' plays on your own turn(cough branded/Lab).

Tbh, sky is better with spell board breaker than hand trap since it need feeding spell to make the engine working full power

While I really dislike Sky Striker as a deck, I love it as an engine, so I tried a version of this deck in the duelist cup and Josh is right, is a lot more fun than the handtrap version, also is kind of insane that enemy controller is just a N rarity card, in this deck is amazing to evade targeted negation and break boards. As Josh said, probably not as good as the handtrap version but way more interesting.

My issue with this build is it is fun and I agree but it does loose to most rogue and branded and when they tell you to go first it could be rough. I don't think it deals with anything very well which is a problem. If they hit snake eye ash it is no longer an option etc. Maybe we will get 3 Engage and a slower format and we can just hop on striker. I would not have played Cosmic at all tbh. I would have played Delta with it if I do I feel like spring and release could have been 2 ofs and I would have sided mind control, so if you do not see Engage we can play with there cards to get to princess and snake eyes lines anyways if we have to Thrust in to other cards. For this build I may have just committed to going second completely and played more Shark cannon. If they make us go first there is always the option to side summon limit. I think Cosmic out side of FK is just bad except for against maybe runnick stun it could have implications for hitting the field spell. I think the one hand trap I may have played would have been ghost ogre, but I can also see why we would not play it as well. It is tough to win with this so your record is impressive. Idk maybe play Engage engine with just Shark cannons and play for a balance between Thrust Talents and hand traps. Not sure but Def have tested these kinds of builds myself and never really found a happy medium I believed was worth playing over pure. In fact, I thought the deck performed much better with Dragon link than it did striker. Making borrelend and negating pitsy for value with the ability to play through hand traps, main hand traps, and break boards and create omni negates felt super strong tbh. Flame was just so good with it and you can keep a small bystial package online for things like branded. In the mirror you will also always get value from them as well. Personally, I think snake eye is an awesome engine and wish it was played as an engine but there is no way to hit fire king and pure without making it impossible to comfortably splash the engine elsewhere. So, yeah. There's that. I think it is just time to let striker rest in peace, Konami may not even give us the third Engage! And if they do there will always be a better option by far and not minimalistically. If we could safely play this deck I would. Also, Droll is a problem. 😂
Also when they tell you to go first and they have engine and HT there is no way we aren't completely loosing if we don't open optimally and by optimal I mean you pick your 5 cards pretty much.

You can send it for a snake eye summon from deck, lets say for flamberge, and remain with an extra link material, so kaina + flamberge
If you made a link 2 and sent it you'd end up with just flamberge in this example, that's one less link material
how does magical spring draw 3? Snake eyes end on temple and I:P only? and flamberge chains to summon I:P, leaving only temple, no? so only draw 1 and discard 1, therefore -1 card advantage? what am i missing?
You can sometimes also end with poplar or whatever it sets in the backrow, so spring would draw 3 in this case
Chaining flamberge isn't the best idea here though because you can lose ip to any quick play backrow removal
Also been tired of throwing hand traps lately. Took live twin/ runick/spright to a 5 round local last weekend and won(the tournament not my die rolls). Pulled the nicest chaos angel😊

There is no anime coming. Konami hates you, Joshua, and everybody else and they are definitely NOT making you happy by bringing an anime. It could cost actual money and Konami is only concerned with ripping retailers. They do not like to take -1 and make the playerbase grow. So my tip is do not act delisional. Nothing good comes from Konami. And you know that.

Gimmick puppet needs to go, it forces you to change your whole deck to prepare for one card. Unhealthy for the game.
So does the entire snake eyes and sinful spoils engine, it's a lower ceiling superheavy. But the same characteristics are there: a lot of one card combos, FTK, oppressive board🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽
Can we please not get striker cards back on the limited list or banned? I would appreciate not losing another deck to collateral because konami would rather ban that then the problem archetypes/engines.

Sky Striker is completely garbage don't worry. They are probably having engage at three any moment. The only good card in the is hornet drones.
The two moments that this deck had shine was with kaiser coliseum and mystic mine turbo, stun decks 😈🤷🏽🤷🏽
I'd play my deck with a stronger emphasis on board breakers if I could, the problem is that since my deck is mannadium, I'm effectively forced into playing 5-6 cards to counter droll.
I know that droll isn't that great this format, but I don't feel like getting punished by any random person who decided to main it despite it being bad.
Also, there is more free space, but I've been using Realm Elegy and Veda kalanta, and they've become integral to how I make my plays now.

Amritara can search for elegy, which can search for Kalanta, which adds clear new world.
Elegy can recycle meek from grave when it's popped while you control Visas starfrost, which can give you meek summon from hand. This also means that playing 1 Torrid is good so you can use it's summon from hand instead of meek's.
Clear new world can pop Kalanta for Visas Samsara, and it can also be used to pop a nib token for a bubble or Reich-heart. Note that their effects will be negated, so Samasara won't be treated as starfrost, and as far as I know it can't be treated as a non-tuner while it's effects are negated. And of course bo search from Reich at that point.
The ratios I use are 2 elegy, 1 kalanta, 1 Clear new world, but how many elegy you use is up to you.
And lastly, for a bad, albeit funny, option you can play Promethian Princess and Amblowhale because your one fire in the deck is Torrid.
It's definitely debatable how good this actually is, but I like it. I will warn about how if you draw Kalanta and Elegy in the same hand then elegy is dead. You could play another Kalanta, but that's just bricky, and as much as I love Veda Kalarcanum, he's a win more card.
