Thai Sticks, stringed rolled up on a stick. I gave up smoking pot because of the Thai, because I O.D. True story. I saw this movie in Sydney Australia when I was a teenager in the late 70’s. Unreal movie.
Brilliant music, great playing, wonderfully produced, this whole episode has a hint of genius: using auditions for Rotten's replacement as the final vocals. It's just a great pity and regrettable that Johnny wasn't on it to make it another Pistols classic. Ultimately, it's a farce...
These were auditions Malcom held to be the next Sex Pistols singer; anyone who wanted to could come and audition. The lyrics were written by the contestants, then they cut up and used the best of them, that's why it switches between singers in the audio. Johnny was 100% out of the band at this point pursuing a solo career, the rest of the guys were trying to film "Who killed Bambi" financed by Richard Branson at Virgin, which was a complete disaster, the footage eventually became Rock n Roll Swindle. SCENE 1: We find out Malcom is a pedo, hanging out naked with his (also naked) 12 year old "girlfriend", and he makes no effort to hide this fact until it was too late. (It wasn't really his gf, it was a paid actress but still she was 12 and nude in the film, then her nudity was edited out because they were threatened with CP charges. It's disturbing.
Agree seen them 6 time live on reunion tours, with a big collection as well, books singles,bootlegs, press kits, calenders,the works met glen and john,i saw ten pole recently with buzzcocks uk subs and chelsea what a line up.kind regards.

John Lydon has it apparently. I saw an interview with Henry Rollins & Rollins said that he offered Lydon $500,000 for Sid's bass and Lydon turned it down.

How many people still have their VHS cassette and a machine to play it on? The film was Malcolm's version of events and how he put the band together, even though they had formed before they met him. I must have watched it endlessly when it was originally released in the early-80s. But I watched the film again a few years ago and I thought it was pony... The accompanying album is great considering they only released two albums of original stuff.

I think it means that this clip contains the solicitors clip as well. This is a segment of the GR&RS film. Most clips cut off at the end of the song.
