  • I HAVE DECIDED TO RE ROUTE THE REAR CABLE SO IT IS PROPERLY FEEDING INTO THE NON DRIVE SIDE. JUST A QUICK LOOK AND FIRST FEW THOUGHTS AS THE HONEYMOON PHASE IS STILL HERE. . . HOPING TO GIVE THE BIKE SOME MORE ABUSE BEFORE THE LONG WEEKEND IS OVER.

    Thanks for the video.
    Some questions for you:
    - how are you finding the fit of the medium? I'm the same height as you and based on reach numbers, I should be on the small.
    - have you had the chance to weigh the stock bike?
    - how's the climbing performance in terms of the geometry, i.e., slack head angle? Are you getting any wheel flop or front end rise?

Hey there! Thanks for the comment. The medium fits very well. However I’m on 27.5 so it’s good. If I were to be on 29er I’d probably want the small. I did add some higher rise handle bars to help with a more upright position and comfort as I’m getting older. Climbing seems ok I haven’t noticed anything super amazing about the climbs though since I hate climbing. The bike stock weighs about 35lbs I thought it would be an issue since my hard tails are right around 30 lbs or under. But I actually enjoy the extra weight especially on the down hill as it picks up more momentum and feels stable. Overall I love the bike and couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
