An actual mountain run not just the typical UA-camr driving like an oldie
Your touge scene is incredible. Love grip runs.
My man, you are so underrated for what you're doing, but please, never ever stop doing this, we enjoy it too much to stop
FINALLY a new video. This is what a lot of the car scene is missing (and maybe that is a good thing). Are there any cooling upgrades done?
+Richard Bossman No cooling mods, since this car doesn't get pushed as hard in the daytime but I'll ask the owner what they think!
Richard Bossman all it has is the big radiator you see at the end
Am I wrong or is the lightbar mounted directly in front of the radiator?
Richard Bossman not really blocking enough to be a concern.
It probably jist needs maintenance not upgrade
Mine never over heats even on hot australia summer days and going alot harder then they were
Plus you see h22s with half size civc rads and turbos attached making alot of power and never have problems, like my old one
Maintenance is often forgot about
Plus they will need an auto rad because of the atts system. .. or an oil cooler as well
Lol thank god for them subtitles. Anyway, liking the editing on this one reminds me of some early 2000s safari drive documentary or something lol
Thanks man, appreciate your long-time viewership and yeah I'll keep working with different stylistic choices for editing
what a gorgeous Prelude
This road looks so familiar! Great handling on these winding roads, definitely need some more ridge chasing in my sub feed.
Hmmm, bizarre that it overheated. The owner mentioned something about the oil, is there a possibility that the engine was filled with the wrong viscosity oil?
Matt Bonaccio it had 10w30 at the time
@@zeppelin926 10w30 = shit. I dont know why in tha love of fuck honda has chosen this shit oil in US models. In european owners manual it is written that you can use everything between 5w30 and 20w50. It all depends where you live, hot or cold climate. If you drive drive hard use sth like 5w50, 10w50 or 10w60. I bet my ass if he had used a proper oil like millers cfs nt+ 10w50 triple ester/ PAO oil or gulf racing 10w60 PAO oil, things like this wouldn't happen. Or he already had a fucked head gasket which could also be the culprit
@@sickbastard82 yup now it has an oil cooler and 10w40
Ayyy finally a new video!
Exhaust noise is literally goals for my lude aha
It’s getting hot but let’s keep driving lol
Wade 1 where's the logic in that🤔 lol
Because the video is edited and doesnt show parts where i slowed to let it cool.
I like what you've done with this video! Different. Make more like this one.
I wish I could’ve seen stock Preludes and Integras duking it out on the streets with Civic Si’s, S2000’s, Accord V6’s and RSX’s.
Let's make it happen 🔮
I hope to see your channel with thousands of subs one day
Preludes are very good for that. Especially 4th gen
The music reminds me of 90's Sega arcade games.
You are really good at driving, love your videos
Miss my lude, when I had it I was undefeated on our local touge, beat many good cars. However never got to race the fastest racer who whooped everyone's ass with his ferio 1.5 ls auto
Civics in the right hands are pretty nuts.
I have a 97 with full ground control coil overs and sway bars. Handles like a Ferrari. These do tend to get hot with how big the 2.2 block is. Aftermarket radiator is a must eventually. Mine overheated to the point where the head warped. Was worth every penny to fix still!
I like the way he was down shifting it sound like and s2k
It's been so long since you last uploaded :(
Been on the grind! Regular two-week schedule (Friday or Saturday) is back up, thanks for waiting!
Nice! Waiting on your next upload man!
Is this the Ace Combat Soundtrack?! If it is, 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥good choice.
Yes it is and thanks!
sometimes I miss this car.
you guys have been watching initial D again
2:43 deer tries to race the Prelude and gets out of the way.
weird lookin deer
What wheel and tire spec were you running here?
I want good track/touge fitment
I was thinking 16x7 +38 with a 225/45 tire but lmk what fits best ty
50 degrees is huge, night vs day temps.
Nice video as usual
Do a tough review of it please?
That's a heavy _maybe_ but I certainly plan on reviewing at least one Prelude 🤞
Super handling!!!
ACE COMBAT OSTTTTTTT. MY DUUUUUDEEE. btw get back at me on Facebook if you want to join in on future group runs and meets.
For sure! The others will let me know of anything since I don't really use that
Ridge Chaser ok. As long as you've got someone keeping you in the loop. It'll still be awhile before our next run. Once my car is up though expect up to two runs and two meets a month
Does this man have an Instagram page to follow him? I myself have a 2000 Type SH and I highly recommend him investing in a Mishimoto radiator with silicone hoses! Maybe also a Mugen thermostat.
Gustavo Castillo @eastbaytouge thanks
Definitely want one now
Does anyone know the exhaust set up?? This lude sounds amazing
It uses a custom exhaust, I believe it's 3.5" diameter.
Great video! :) already watched all of your videos, you have a new sub, keep it up! P.S. maybe add some car modding/repairing content :)
Thanks Daniel, it will most likely be repairing content if anything haha
Wouldve loved to see the RPM meter.
and that sweet sound..
beautiful, sadly my 1.8 I-Vtec civic doesnt make that sound, more a deep growl.
is this stock? OR why is the engine so agressive sounding? Its like the mic is in the engine bay
The custom exhaust is where it's coming from 👌 The mic is in the cabin this time
wow i thought its the engine that makes this sound
More prelude content? Mods video?
I wish! Preludes on the canyons are rare nowadays.
What do you mean “what do you usually do when it’s over heating ?” Stop redlining the car and let it cool down.
Hard to find type R in the U.S. , Price N/A Be there nxt yr
Laser Beam ! What exhaust are you running ?
lol how did that thing overheat? stock engine with a full aluminium radiator should be fine. what was his water temp? if it gets hot. quit driving fast asap. crusie at 30-40mph to get cool air through the radiator.
Yeah there were a few areas where we had to slow down, I didn't include a lot of the footage we captured.
@Ridge Chaser This was the prelude you raced against in the touge, right?
+TheIntratec9 looks familar right? ;)
What do you mean “what do you usually do when it gets hot ?” Stop redlining that car and let it cool down.
What body kit is that 🤔
ThaRealJules OEM optional
Man I miss my '98 lude
where is this canyon located?
when I am gonna get an invite to the meet dude- I wanna run lol
Exaust on this one ????
somewhere in california?
Stock intake???
How do you over heat a honda? No oil? Radiator broken? After market radiator cap? Hundred bucks says his thermostat is broken.
Damn that music! Smh, not durring the drive.
AHA! I know that road... I knew it looked familar... its in Mexico *wink wink*
are you able to stay in your lane
Yeah
Um its getting hot " O! Yea that's nice" it's not mine.
Wow, overheating? Even at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, I've never overheated on a touge... yet.
S2k wheel? Still shouldn't overheat.
+///Sixth Gear Yeah S2K wheel its quite nice 🖒
Ridge Chaser keep up the good work. Editing vids is tedious!
LOL do I smell weed?
