Sorry to ask but do you know if you will be making a tutorial on the eBay zvs Tesla coil anytime soon. I got one for Christmas and would like to have an instruction video on how to build it.
I’m just kind of a beginner in electronics but I would really like to build some things. I figured out the fly back board but I need to figure out everything else so if you can make a video on everything like how to wire the entire coil and what needs to be done with all the capacitors that would be nice and very appreciated and how to connect the fly back into the rest of the coil. And thank you so much for responding to my comment thanks for being a good source for a beginner like me you have been very helpful in my journey of building Tesla coils. I scored a larger rotary spark gap coil that I plan to hopefully finish one of these days.
@@eckdirtbiking5113 Hey man, I'm so sorry for not gettng back to you. I'm starting to do some planning and I'll find you a vid for how to correctly get the flyback transformer and the zvs driver working properly and how to get the wires onto the flyback correct. (I'd show you mine but i have the pins potted in hot glue and it would be hard to see) Then I'll probably do a quick video where I have the tesla coil taken apart somewhat so all of teh compnets are visible and you can see where the wires go. Rotary gap sounds awesome, i'd love to try one of those out and see the difference. Take Care
Here is a vid explaining how to find which pin on the bottom of the flyback is the negative output ua-cam.com/video/11YHeqdaHco/v-deo.html Its not too bad, its just the pin that the arc jumps the furthest to initially. You're gonna want to do it at 12 volts. I'll show in the video how to connect the zvs to the flyback. Basically just wind 10 turns with a center tap(5 turns, pull out some extra slack+five more turns in same direction, cut the slack and connect them together, and those are the center tap, and you have your other ends of the wire being the same length) Sorry if that's a bad explaination but i will go over everything in my vid)

Hey man, sorry about that, I completely forgot about making the tutorial. Was there anything specific that you weren't sure about?
