There is a possibility of getting the heisman and the doak walker, and yes, it would be almost generational, but it has come close several times In 2020, Najee Harris had 1900 yards from scrimmage and 30 TDs from scrimmage and won the DWA That same year, Mac Jones threw for 4500 yards and 41 TDs to 4 ints. He didn't win the heisman (Jones), but Devonta Smith did. I will say, though, to push back on my own for this, Bama was one of the rare teams that barely had any opt outs and played a ton of awfully weakened teams that year. When the awards were announcing in 2019, Justin Fields had 2950 pass yards and 40 TD 3 ints, with 470 rush yards and 10 TDs. He didn't have a ton of yardage (3420 total), but he had 50 TDs from scrimmage. At that time Dobbins had 1830 rush yards and 20 TDs with 200 receiving and 2 TDs (basically 2000 yards and 22 TDs from scrimmage). Both finished top 6 in the heisman, but Chubba Hubbard won the Doak and he barely had more stats over Dobbins. He also finished 8th in heisman voting. It's crazy because the Doak doesnt give it to the guy with the most rushing yards every year, so I have no idea how he didn't get it, but Chubba on an 8-5 team did. Nobody was going to beat Burrow, but this was another team with basically that level of play at QB and RB. I can see Martinez rushing from 1600 yards and Ward passing for 4000 yards in 13 games, bowl games included. However, i don't know if the rushing yards will be enough.
Miami fan here with tats and all. Stop this. Okay? We know everyone wants us to fail. That's why they hyping so hard. How bout we wait til game 4 to say these things. Okay?
@@Mystery_Man84 hey I'm hoping they throw it back in their faces and prove they are what everyone is saying but none of these guys on offense have played together. Not even 1 snap. After the last 6-7 years I need to see them play before I can get hyped 🤷🏼♂️
But rivals say is miami fans hyping up the canes. The “offseason champs” in regard to miami has been perpetuated by mostly the media for that last decade or so. But low iQ rivals always bring it up when they are losing debates. 😂

They are hyping them up so much right now so that they can laugh even harder if Miami fails
