I have a slay the spire 2 prediction: hear my prophecy. One of the themes of the game will be about how the spire corrupts you and it will show that theme by letting you "drink" the Fairy in a bottle, killing the Fairy inside for power.
My bf and I have played StS on and off for years, but never to push for ascension levels. We've recently decided that we'll playing more seriously, racing to A20. He is on A2, and I'm on A5. Your videos have helped a tonne with tips and tricks. Wish me luck! :D
As a UA-cam exclusive watcher that doesn’t have access to the stream due to timezone bs I have to say that if u r doing a streak it would be amazing if you would say what streak you are on before the video and what your pb. The moment you mentioned that on stream the whole video suddenly got a whole lot more interesting to me
One of the Distractions is generated from distraction, which pulls from a smaller pool of cards than Dead Branch. It can only generate Skills, excluding Alchemize. So I believe its (1/70)^3 * (1/35) = 0.0000000883%
I think, while not exactly the same thing, Prayer Wheel effectively functions as a reroll for card rewards. It doesn't keep all of the gameplay quirks that true rerolls might give (e.g. the decision making of "do you settle for a card you see or reroll to potentially get better", etc.), but it still lets you see a second card reward in case you whiff on the first reward
I would say that is a bad comparison, it is way way better than reroll. Seeing 6 cards immediately is way better than seeing 3 and decide if you want a new chance. Being able to pick 2 cards out of both groups of 3 means it is way easier to find and assemble combos. And more importantly, just like potions, your chance of seeing a rare card increases every time you do not see a rare card, so pray wheel doubles the speed of your rare chance accumulation, meaning you can build around rare cards more reliably
@@pkerichang Oh, don't get me wrong. I agree prayer wheel is way better than if they implemented a true reroll. There was a lot I wanted to say about it but in the end omitted, because it started to make my comment drag on, and I figured the original asker wasn't bringing it up because they wanted a fully fledged system that offered more nuanced decision making. I assumed they wanted rerolls because of the wider range of cards it would let them see, allowing for more consistent builds, etc., in which case we already have that and more in prayer wheel. However, I concede that assumption could have been wrong in the first place. Just wanting the game to give the player more freedom felt like the sort of wistful thinking, "wouldn't it be nice?" style of comment that I would expect from more StS players, if only because there are fewer people who are good at the game, and StS is a hard game whose difficulty stands directly in opposition to being able to freely build your deck how you want. You can't pick every card you want for your build exactly when you want it. Rerolls would undermine that difficulty a lot. Thankfully, prayer wheel, as it were, is a rare relic
I usually go 1.5 or 1.25 if I’m really focusing. It just makes sense for this game since there’s a lot of dead air. Baalor definitely does a great job of explaining decisions and teaching info though
they can take the title but they will never take our memories

I thought we already do that

The description of the potion says that you discard it, not drink it.

The current streak is always in the video description! Before this streak his A20 Silent PB was 8, so this is currently his best.
1:45:50 Quadruple Distraction is actually the funniest thing I've ever seen, what are the odds of this happening?
Pretty sure 1 in 70 times 4, so 280
You mean (1/70)^4?

Fairy in a Bottle is ... a fairy in a bottle. You can't drink that! Also you're dead. Ornithopter should still go off, though
Ghost in a jar is just a ghost…. In a jar… you drink that…. 😤✊🏽
@@HardxCorpsxKalii think it would be easier to drink a ghost
22:20 It's not a potion, it's a fairy in a bottle. You dont drink it, you set it free. This is most likely inspired by the fairy bottle in Zelda.

What are the mathematical chances of dead branch creating 2 distractions and 1 of those distractions creating another distraction?
5$%
Dead Branch actually created 3 Distractions there, 2 Distractions were created by 1 Distraction played and the other 2 were shivs
I can't believe Baalor would use such language in the intro.
