Hey all, Premiere sometimes get really wonky with nested sequences and audio. I thought I had fixed it, but unfortunately at around 26:19 the audio got messed up for 40ish seconds and I didn't catch it, so I just removed it from the video, which results in an unideal but unavoidable weird jump cut (if you still see it it's still being processed).
What you miss:

I'm not going to lie. This type of content is better than the normal coaching style. I don't hate the previous one, but Rarran and Frost have such great chemistry together. If they collaborate again like League content, I probably watch them.
Just want to say, I greatly enjoy the banter you have with Rarran. I've watched Rarran for a while (Bless him and Lt. Eddy collabs), but both of you have that good energy and vibes. So dont worry about making a 2nd video in case it goes too long. It's good cooking going on between you two.

@bye1551 Rarran is learning. Making mistakes because you don't understand why they're mistakes is part of learning. Also, if Rarran just does what Frost tells him, it's just gonna be a Frost run by proxy, and rarran is just gonna be bored.
TBH the most shocking thing in this vid is that Frost plays ap Blitz in mid and has a 80% winrate
tbh a lot of ap mid support-ish are or have been very strong like soraka, sona, amumu, alistar, blitz etc...
imo sona's damage is so underrated that you could often go 2/0 early because you do power chord Q, kill, come back with sheen and do the same but from them at 50% hp.
note that I haven't played in years, but at least when I played those off meta picks were great

It’s one of Ironclad’s main synergies throughout his card pool. It’s absolutely crazy.
I just never liked exhausting cards, if you mind can you explain why it’s good? Is it because of other cards like on exhausting a card you draw a card? I’m relatively new to STS, 1 win on every character (except the watcher). Honestly just want a couple tips doesn’t even have to be ironclad
Ironclas has a few powers and relics that work really well with exhausting cards, including one that does damage every time you do@@Na0811te
@@Na0811te I don't know if anyone's going to write an entire explanation here. There's a couple of essay length tips and explanations on the STS reddit.
@@Na0811te exhaust is good for a few reasons. 1: you make your deck smaller, so its more consistent. 2: Ironclad has lots of synergies with it, dark embrace and feel no pain are very, very good. 3: most exhaust cards have fairly powerful effects. Fiend Fire can do insane damage.
The cons of an exhaust deck basically boil down to the fact that unless you have a source for adding new cards to your deck, it puts you on a bit of a timer. It's like the opposite of a barricade deck. Instead of taking your time to build up, you want to destroy your enemies as fast as possible. one of the strongest decks i ever had was an exhaust deck where i had the relic Medkit which allows you to exhaust any status in your hand, Evolve which made me draw additional cards whenever i drew a status, Feel No Pain to block, and Fire Breathing for massive amounts of AOE. Factor in Dark Embrace for extra draw, and cards like Power through, Wild Strike, and the like? Incredible Defense, Insane Damage, and really easy to play as well. A good exhaust deck crushes really fast.
The reason they work is becasue most fights, as Frost said in the video, most hallway battles last 3-5 turns, other than Elites. So in every fight that isnt an Elite or a Boss, you probably arent going to shuffle your deck more than once, especially if its on the larger size you might not even shuffle once, so the lost cards dont matter because you wont need them, and now you can reach your other attacks faster.
You two are such an amazing comedy duo. I'd love to see you guys collab more.

The chat about LoL content was very real. I've followed most of the Karp Krew since 2017 and League felt more boring when the fun youtubers moved on. Despite not playing it for years or being remotely involved with the community I'm confident in saying that Darkk's style of scripted comedy videos is more engaging, entertaining and thought out than every "NEW BROKEN BUILD 14.69" or "INSANE KDA IS THIS NEW CHAMP BROKEN??" content mill out there.
Frost primes editor is probably as invested in frost primes youtube success if not more then frost himself

As a hs player who picked up sts it’s (albeit years ago) it’s crazy how basically every one of rarran’s misconceptions of cards matched my old misconceptions. Undervaluing exhaust, overvaluing draw, etc etc
Also lmao at the end. You can see the gears turning in rarran’s head as he realizes how busted the full exhaust package is
at 10:40 - to my knowledge, the champ can actually perform "execute" an infinite times in a row after his powerup but I think he's the outlier, along with the tangela thing

Frost has amazing patience to deal with rarrans lack of knowladge. The fact that rarran got to a20 is nothing short of a miracle
I know i relate so much to that one chatter that was getting clowned on for saying there on a7 and know more about the game. I do know a lot about the game, def way more than rarran. I just like the game and don't really care that much about winning lol. My highest ascension level is 10 on ironchad and 6 on the rest. I only play on a1 though.
It's kinda like rubiks cubes they can be a fun fidget toy and it can be satisfying to solve it or just play with it, or you can learn all the algorithms and solve it every time. To me the former is more fun, i have no care to unlock the secret of solving the rubiks cube. If i did i would lost interest in it.
Maybe that's a bad analogy idk.
@@bye1551 This is a coaching session so as a teacher you'd obviously want Rarran to lay out his thought process and then guide him towards a better solution if necessary. Frost just saying "yo take this" would a) make this vid less enjoyable and b) make Rarran learn less about the game.

@@bye1551 He's not outright refusing, he acknowledges Frost is right, but he's saying what his opinion is, like "removing is so bad here though" is basically him asking Frost why its good, like his card gamer experience is giving him a feeling its bad and he wants and explanation why he's wrong. As for the "I'm doing X anyway" that not because he thinks he's smarter, it's because Frost has literally already told him its not bad and so he'd rather go for a 'fun' choice that's not bad, unless Frost tells him something is more fun. I think you just don't like his 'banter' tone which is fine, but Rarran isn't being hostile, he's being joking.
@@liesalllies I mean it's difficult to prove you know more about the game than an A20 player, when you don't even attempt half the difficulty the game provides. You can convince yourself otherwise, but most people will disregard your opinion if you don't have any solid credibility to stand your ground (like having attempted a A20H run).
Btw this is not a diss towards you, I'm just saying that you may have overestimate your knowledge in this game, while in reality there are multiple mistakes made in a run that you've never realised (speaking from 350 hours multiple A20H runs on all characters except watcher on all saves, and still learning despite it)

The problem with omniscience is that it's awful until you upgrade it, and unless you have very specific sequences it's bad. It becomes extremely broken with the right card combos, but otherwise it's awful.
