    The NEMA L14-30 for charging is a separate circuit with it's own breaker on the main panel right? You have the option for a 120v for a single AC300 or 240v for split phase for 2 AC300. I've seen post about tripping GFCI breakers or frying the inverter. I'm looking to use the AC300's as backup to grid outage and automatically switch to battery then. No solar. Thank you.

      Yes, the 30A input cord for the AC300 (and now AC500) is on its own 30A breaker in the panel.

      @@DougKremer so once installed I could leave the AC300/500 connected to the grid at all times and set the UPS function to suit my change/discharge needs? Thank you.

      The Reliance transfer switch was $360 + tax from Amazon, and I installed it myself.
