Did you really just do that? You know what you did. Now, we're going to have to try that with a tool. ...extending rear handle circular saw. Lol. Thanks for putting this in our brains.
Im not even on Flex platform. I just bought one because of this video. Its on sale for 199.00. Im still not getting into Flex platform yet. I'll use my Jackery 1000 to power it for now. It should run all day and night.
I bought a backup battery at lowes that was leaking....something? Black goo. Lowes traded it out for a different battery. All brands are flawed. I've had 6 milwaukee batteries quit working recently. Probably a reason to buy corded when possible. Ive been thinking about a miter saw and table saw. I should buy corded to avoid the problems....
I have a couple of ridgid tripods that can hold their panel lights so this is not the most necessary thing for me but danged if it doesn't look awesome.
Can't blame you there. If you already have batteries and chargers, then it's best to stay in that brand as long as it's profitable & feasible. Thanks for watching.
I love some of the Ryobi tools their huge shop fan was amazing I used to run mine and other tools off of my m18 batteries with a battery adapter I'm hoping that someone makes a flex adapter to run other brands like I had with my Milwaukee set because Ryobi is a good company to get the odd tools every one wants a premium for
Hopefully someday we can buy a bazooka, NLAW, stinger, or Javelin at the big box stores. 😂 for fun of course. Not to use against humans or animals. I’d just want to park an old car in a field and go at it.
Finally a Rocket Light clone that does dual power...and they fucked up by putting the plug behind the battery so you can't run it off AC and have a battery backup. Also, despite claiming it's the easiest/fastest to use (despite the only features it has that the others don't is the fuel gauge and removable head), you demonstrated that it's the opposite simply because it doesn't have a second handle directly hard mounted to the main body.
We wondered the same thing about the plug behind the battery. It does have a hard handle, the chrome handle is just behind the light head. FYI, we have yet to review the new Milwaukee M18 Rocket Tower light. Even when we've used the Rocket, getting the light head out of the pocket is kind of a pain. This is why we said the FLEX is the easiest/fastest LED tower light we've reviewed. Not arguing with you, just sharing with you that we don't say things like that just willy-nilly. Thanks for watching and sharing.
@@Shoptoolreviews That’s a handle? It looks like a storage hook. It also looks like it’s on the sliding sub assembly. With the Rocket and the clones from Yellow and Teal, the second handle is mounted directly onto the main tube, so you can deploy the legs easily in the air. At any rate, I read the manual and knew about the AC or battery but not both, I was just waiting for either A) Flex to enable comments on the Faceoff 2 video or B) a larger Tooltuber I think is trust worthy to cover the light to complain about it, since Flex actually does read *some* of it and fix it in v2.
Cannt find any info if it comes with a battery. Lowes does not say tool only, but dont specify a battery either. I guess that's what you get with a bottom feeder brand like Flex, no useful info.
If you read on the description it tells you battery sold separate lol. As for bottom feeder brand that shows you don't know shit about tool brands. All your comment says is you're salty about a brand that's killing the competition and that you can't read description.
Flex tools are incredible. There’s no denying it man. This impact is the best I’ve ever used
everything they make seems too be very well made,I like all my Flex tools so far.
I’ve bought so much in Milwaukee but I started buying flex. can’t beat that warranty 😁
The detachable feature alone has won me over. Hadn't even given the shop light much consideration before seeing that feature. That's a great feature
8:00 I wonder if you could slide your drill or whatever on to that connection. You definitely could with some grinding because why not LOL
Yep, we might have to try something.
Wow. Well done, FLEX. An incredibly well thought out light.
What’s amazing is if those diodes die I wonder if they sell the light separately so you don’t have to repurchase everything.
Can you connect a drill or some other tool on the tripod top? Asking for a friend...
Did you really just do that? You know what you did. Now, we're going to have to try that with a tool. ...extending rear handle circular saw. Lol. Thanks for putting this in our brains.
Lmao 🤣
What is the knob on the underside of the light stand at the 10:40 mark????
I thought it was gatling gun lol. What a 🔦
We can understand why. Yes, it's a great light. Thanks for watching.
Can you buy the light minus the tripod?
Does the usb port work if you plug in 120v cord?
No reason it shouldn't work, since it's converting the 120V AC to 24V DC to power the light.
Can’t hang from rafters. Design flaw as battery gets in the way. Also, chrome hangers are rusting in humid climate.
So can you put an impact on the top of that tripod. And possible use the tripod for other tools.
no the battery interface on the tripod is coded so it only works with the light

Sir does it come with a power cord? Thanks so much
He mentioned in the video that you use an extension cord.
First awesome video 😃👌
bought an angle grinder but the battery leaks. I cant get through to their CS
I just bought a Milwaukee sawzall and the tool snapped in half. Can’t get through to customer service, at all!

Looks like they are all the same brand with the battery providers label
We use them on fire trucks also. Awesome scene lights.
Firefighters use Flex?

Another great review! I have the Ryobi panel light and tri pod light too. But to have both of those in one tool is genius!
Totally agree! Thanks for watching. and sharing.
It was a combination of Milwaukee deawalt and ridigid lights
Too deep in Ryobi to switch over to be honest...
Can't blame you there. If you already have batteries and chargers, then it's best to stay in that brand as long as it's profitable & feasible. Thanks for watching.

$100 more then it's Bigger Brother lawn Equipment EGO
It looks like if you have a bigger battery there’s no room to hang it on a rafter or 2x4.
Hey Tim......
Milwaukee clone!!!!!
Kinda, not really. Thanks for watching.
Don't Insult Flex with that word milwaukee
Drop a link to the Milwaukee light that does what this one does.

FFS stop SHOUTING ALL THE TIME!!!
Buy him a wireless mic then. 🤷🏽♂️
Milwaukee dik lover fans are having a heart attack right now because ppl are saying Flex is better at something that Milwaukee is not.
