@@turnerd20 I will get to making a more recent animal guide early next year i think. And I just got pigs on the Oxbow, they should be in Klonica somewhere!
about the geese plus the feather situation, the hunter lodges produce a way lot more than the geese themselves. with 1 max mood villager that works in a hunter lodge ( any kind ) producing from 50 to 100 feathers than 1 max in the goose house. so with that in mind, you can probably guess what will happen if 4 max moods all work in the hunter lodge. by that comparison, you are no longer the goose house to produce feathers but instead, you can use that 1 empty slot to build another henhouse to max income of eggs, which you can use for fertilizer when they are converted to rot after the season changed or sell them for profit if they overly max or use them to cook dishes to eat/sell. that is what I found recently from the new updates this month. hope you like it and give me your thoughts in the comment.
Thanks for the information. It's nice to have all the animals laid out in one guide. I would add that to start my chicken flock I bought a male and female chick and let it go from there. As they mature and breed you will soon have a nice flock. Thanks for the tip on selling roosters, I hadn't thought of that.
Good stuff, very informative and helpful! The only thing I would have added was mentioning saddle bags to increase the mount's capacity when while discussing the skills for mounts. But that's juat my opinion. Overall, an excellent vid my friend!
Left out that selling animals results is great diplomacy xp. The rate of return is much higher than selling items. Downside is percent chance of animals producing young and the fact that it only happens at season change.
Man i have calculated my stones production and it is more than the stones are daily used to carf things, and still at middle of the day my stones runs out and my workers stop working because of it.Can anyone tell me how to solve it?
I don't know if you really need motivation, looking at your sub count shocked me , I absolutely hate every UA-camr who plays medieval dynasty with a passion because of their voice , their massive adhd and the way they play the game My point is , I love your videos and thank you for playing this game , I have hope now to watch MD on UA-cam, your editing plus your voice and humor makes the videos amazing God I hate the other UA-camrs so much and it annoys me how you have less subs than them
I play on 15 days per season. So I’m worried I won’t have enough feed all year round. I have 50 rye and wheat planted. Middle of autumn, I have farmhand women without work. I could grind. Should I get chickens, feed and grains or wait until I have grains??
You can kill them and skin them for meat and leather. I haven't checked to see if it's worth skinning your own animals, but it was better to sell them last patch. Might be different with the Oxbow update!
It’s simply more valuable (from a coins perspective) on having your chickens or geese houses produce feathers. You will still get a few eggs that you can manually harvest from the nests in the building yourself.
But the beauty of the game is the realism. The same principles apply in game as in real life. Each farm animal you slaughter means you can no longer get eggs, milk, wool, etc. from it. You have to make the decision to eat the animal, sell it, or continue to collect resources from it.
I wish lol 😂 I'd need 1000 subs before I can even apply for monetization. Sadly, UA-cam will put ads on videos for their own gain and I have no control over it. Maybe look into premium or adbl*ckers if ads are too intrusive? Also, there are no restrictions or copyright claims, so it shouldn't be blocked in other countries. Hope this helped! (Edit: spelling errors)
You'd think the devs might have spent like 5 minutes learning about farm animals before they coded this! Chickens that live 20 yrs? feeding animals straw? Hay is what animals eat, straw is the worthless leftovers that you use for bedding or building material! Why be so detailed then get such basic facts wrong? oh well.
I almost crashed my game dropping all that manure 😅Thanks for watching! Might talk about co-op next
Good vid😊
@@Jelcy46 Thanks! 🙂
could you do an animal location guide for oxbow? i'm having a hard time finding pigs :(

What about roasters?
I have to say, the OST you're putting on your videos are the main reason I stay for good :D

keep up the good work man! Your channel is the best!

Great breakdown of the animal classes and needs.

Thanks my dude

Good stuff. I wondered how the animal breeding worked in this game
Thanks! Yea I wished the animal breeding was better explained in game but it is what it is 😅

Was...was that a flute rendition of Pony by Ginuwine?! LOL
It seemed fitting lol 😂😂😂
😂
Are you able to bred animals without villagers? Or is that the only way is to have a villager breed them for you? Great videos by the way!
Thanks!! I believe they breed without a villager working, you just wont be able to passively generate the resources they produce.
Is it OK or safe to just let your animals wander freely? Or do I need to put a fence around them to keep them close and safe?
They should be fine freeroaming, they shouldn't wander too far anyways
@@SirJayWalker Great, thank you!
I'm brand new to the game and these tutorials were amazing! Thank you and great work making them.
The cows only produce milk no leather or meat?

If i take the eggs, dont produce babys? im new :D ty for guide.
They will still produce babies even if you take all the eggs. The breeding mechanic works separately 🙂
@@SirJayWalker Ty :D
Yo tengo todos los animales, solo compré una pareja,te haces de oro criando animales y vendiéndolos 🎉
A way to butcher animals for meat? If so, what would be the best source for meat? (no don't wanna go hunting all season)
I would probably have villagers gather meat in the hunting lodge or farm cabbage instead, if you don't want to hunt.
Piglets must be slow growing, but then these are likely not a full year old yet. Maybe they go from piglet to pig suddenly.
Im new to the game, but the prices must have changed a lot. I'm only on chickens, but they are 93 for adults and 23 for chicks.
Price changes were updated in this video ua-cam.com/video/QAVfWjt7zGQ/v-deo.htmlsi=cI8SqZUyWiZ2RGkt
You get so much feathers from chopping trees, why would you waste egg production on them?
It’s simply more valuable (from a coins perspective) on having your chickens or geese houses produce feathers. You will still get a few eggs that you can manually harvest from the nests in the building yourself.
Hmmm ... why don't plays just ask NPCs where to find farm animals?
So you can't harvest meats and skins from your livestock? That's kind of a bummer
You can, but you don't get nearly enough resources for it to be worth it, which sucks, I agree 😕
But the beauty of the game is the realism. The same principles apply in game as in real life. Each farm animal you slaughter means you can no longer get eggs, milk, wool, etc. from it. You have to make the decision to eat the animal, sell it, or continue to collect resources from it.
pig don't give meat? but bacon?
Every animal gives the same type of meat 😆 I think a cooking update would be nice for the future
You can't watch it, only the ads come from YT. to the author, did you sell yourself for advertising?
I wish lol 😂 I'd need 1000 subs before I can even apply for monetization. Sadly, UA-cam will put ads on videos for their own gain and I have no control over it. Maybe look into premium or adbl*ckers if ads are too intrusive?

My donkeys leave more manure than the pigs.
It's ironic that the goat is not in fact the GOAT.
How about a comment on the altar of the algo?
is it me or does everything seem over priced in this game
The prices are completely rehauled in the Oxbow update so the prices won't be accurate. The rest is up to date for the most part
I killed my piglet as I was cutting down a tree 😂😂😂😂

Had to break my wife at 21, she was a diplomat i said f that heres a pigsty build character. Knocked her up 21 flux had to be spun im like hun

Chickens live up to a max of 6.25 years in Medieval Dynasty as far as I know. And as for the straw thing, I'm not sure 😅
Straw is used as animal feed, mixed with other ingredients. Looks like you didnt do the 5 mins of research.
Where did you get 20 years from, genuine question...
He was drinking bongwater as his name suggests 😂
I'm pretty sure they live 4-10 years (in real life)
