What we got instead were bosses based on different Disney characters: Witch Hazel (a minor character from the 1952 Donald Duck cartoon "Trick Or Treat") became the first boss; Tick-Tock, the alligator from Peter Pan, was now the boss in the Ocean stage; Kaa was the boss of the Woods stage; Peg Leg Pete was the boss of the Pirate Ship stage; and Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) was the new boss of the Castle.
There are several versions of this game, where different enemies appear, i had this version in 90's and it was hard to find this version on UA-cam, so now i know i had Famicon NES before. I also played Super Mario, Battle city (tanks), Popeye and other games
thats bc you are noob the game is mega easy noobie go drop your pc to the thrash you not have brain to play games yet first you need to get brain thats the problem that try to finish the game again
I really prefer this version over the U.S one. More references to other disney cartoons. I remember re-watching Alice in Wonderland when I was younger just to see if some of the commonplace enemies came from there. (Some did from the Tulgey Wood scene) More importantly, I finally saw the Queen of Hearts get her comeuppance. (In the movie, Alice just gets away from her by waking up and the Queen of Hearts always scared me as a kid) According to a Japanese strategy guide, the white things they throw is actually an eraser. (Same kind used for pencils) It also lists the invincibility "angel" as Tinker Bell (Doesn't look like it but I did call it that first time I played this)
I do not remember the other games clearly, but my 7-in-1 cassette definately had Mickey mouse (this game) WCW Brian Lara Cricket (hacked sega version) Captain Majid (tecmo soccer) UA-cam would recommend me this video some years later, and it will cherish my childhood memories again through this comment.

I was so confused as a kid. First i was looking for Mickey in the Alice movie then i tried to look for Captain Hook in the Mickey's cartoon. If this is today's game, I'd be expecting Moana in the ocean stage and Elsa in the frozen woods, ha.

A charming little game with many Disney callbacks. Tough and unforgiving but once you get the hang of it Mickey and Minnie make a good team with double the firepower. I prefer this to the 16-bit Mickey games.

The bosses make so much more sense here than in Mickey Mousecapade.
Not necessarily, as having Mickey and Minnie fight Captain Pete instead of Captain Hook makes more sense.

I had no idea there were so many differences between versions, the famicom version actually looks better usually it's the other way around
All those hidden items and surprise make me remember my childhood... I still have relic NES but yeah, it's a relic now
This was my favorite game as a kid, I beat it like 2 or 3 times when I was a kid but still loved playing it
I always preferred this version because the USA release replaced the enemies with generic ones, including the bosses.
