To think that Novak Djokovich is one of the main reasons why Murray only won 3 Grandslams, Murray's only FO Final was a loss against Novak and 3 of Murray's 5 AO finals were losses against Novak is astonishing. Like Murray is a champion anyway you look at it, he is a 3 time Grand Slam winner on 2 different surfaces......but Novak is on another level.
Murray in any other Era would be a 10 maybe 15 time Grand slam winner.......but he was playing in the same era as the 3 greatest Tennis players ever.
Murray actually lost 4 AO finals to Novak (not 3).
It's mind blowing that Novak has almost won 4 slams in a row *twice*
Djokovic was so spent mentally and physically after conquering the final barrier that he wasn't the same again for two whole years.
14:08 is about as good of a point as can be played in tennis! The greatest man in tennis!!!
Who's here after Djokovic won his 2nd RG?
Me
Thanks
unforgetable
The nextgen stars might win more GS than Murray,,, but it will be difficult for them to match the level of Murray...
when every player wins the first set against Nole his team and family members have a big smile on their faces, but it just for only 1 set 😆😆, after that they all look 😳😳😭😭 the Wolfe comes back. 😇😎
Grande Nole eres genial en tennis
A RG final without Rafa Nadal is more unnatural than covid 19
COVID-19 is natural though
@Avinash Anand Dude, Covid comes from the media.
@@gts8919 what do you mean?
What a emotional moment
i would watch a full match to put it on the channel, what a graphichs..wow
Best defense vs Best defense
Best return vs best return
Young rafa the best defensive player all time
20:35 the best moment! A tribute to his friend, Gustavo "Guga" Kuerten
very beautiful the tribute that novak paid to guga
I am here after all Time Great Nole won #23.
Suggestions:
Nadal-Soderling 2009
Nadal-Isner 2011
Giustino-Moutet 2020
wow, what a match!
2016 Murray was insanely good
Here after 2023 Roland-Garros
Never forget.
What a game it was! ...........
Great match from both although Djokovic struggled a lot to close the match
Vintage Murray was out of this world
This was his 12th grand slam title. He wins 12 MORE after this one.
I just realized these two along with novak and Rafa are the only pairs between Djokovic, Federer, Nadal and Murray to have played in all 4 Grand Slam finals.
The biggest difference is that Murray has not won 2 of those Major finals (Australian Open and Roland Garros).
the only one who has won all Grand Slams at least twice and has beaten Rafa twice at RG!!!!
Djokovic was flying on the court. Federer style, with better return and backhand. Unplayable. Andy played amazingly but stood no chance.
Lucky that Rafael Nadal was not there
@@mysticnomad89 djoko beat rafa two times in RG so not necesseraly, also he was in his prime back then.
@@Eudemoni_ lol just like how chung beat Novak at Australia in 2018 and oh istomin who beat Novak in 2017
@@mysticnomad89 at that times Djokovic was empty of desire to play tennis, he reached his goal by winning all slams (in a row), its a psychological thing. He completed his quest, he had no goal.
Its incredible he almost won the second grand slam like laver did
The 🐐
Wish to see Rafa and Djokovic sweating it out in the finals of RG 2022 💕
Your wish was fulfilled
I think their semi final clash in 2015 was better
That was an amazing five setter
@@anujjyothykumar4667 6-1 to Djokovic in the deciding 5th set. It was anything but amazing. Though without doubt it was a much better match than this one which was a bit one sided after the first set.
Idemo No1e
Djokovic was just too good after the first set - his movement around the court, shot placement, and net play (unusually) were exceptionally high. Murray played about as well as he could really - no one was beating Djokovic that day other than a peak Nadal.
Who's here after Novak reached the 2021 final
I am. :-)
And he won🥳
Me too
@@o.laflaf i will again after 2023 RG where he will defeat Alcaraz in 4 set
@@kingnole4237 you bet
I'm team Nole but i respect a lot Murray, such a classy player, so unlucky to play in the 3 goats era
Scary good tennis by Novak and reminds us all how hard it was to win a slam with Murray in your draw
Lol. Novak was really lucky that year he did not face a red hot Rafa. Nothing against him though. I would say the same in 2009 Federer was lucky Rafa was out
@@adithyanaren519 rafa was injured in 2016 french open
@@adithyanaren519 well 2021 djokovic beats good form Rafa awww s
Sampras lead record, then Federer, then Nadal and the last guy on the list Dkjovic caught up and surpassed all of them . Goat . Just to think in January 2023 he was on 21 GS then won three more to make it 24 to equal Margaret Courts record. I think he will win two more before he hangs up his rackets.
