Narcissism is humanity's biggest problem. Learn to identify them and avoid avoid avoid.
Absolutely correct sir!
I don’t have a “everyone is a narcissist” mentality! 😡😂
At the same time YOU can’t take away anyone’s (INFJ) personal experiences in dealing with majority of people who are narcissists around them!
I could write a novel of my personal experiences/battles with narcissists, you wouldn’t believe it!
You must think on a deeper level to know why an INFJ (other empathic people) are meant to battle with the narcissistic personality in their lives!
This was my first time listening to the Personality Hacker podcast. I was very interested on this topic of a “toxic personality” and I wanted to learn more and explore this topic. Yet, I felt the moderators or commentators did not clearly address the topic of the podcast. Yes, at first the topic of identifying and the characteristics of a toxic personality were quickly addressed, but when the definition of “extroverted feelings” was spoken, the toxic personality conversation became lost and as one moderator said, we “went on a lot of abstractions.” I was disappointed that the topic of the podcast was not structured on this particular topic for which I needed more information. At the end of the podcast I got the impression that the commentators knew that a lot of time was wasted “going way off base” to other subjects that the wrap up was an effort to gain some kind of resemblance to the beginning of the podcast. I will listen again to another Personal Hacker podcast in the future to see if this particular podcast was just a glitch to how this podcast usually presents information and commentary.
Everyone from a failed relationship thinks the other was "the" narcissist.
No one considers the universal law that like attracts like. And so 2 narcissists attract each other.
At about 1:07:00 you talk about toxic thinker games, I found that when i see it for what it is, I can detach enough to sus out what their game is and can often shut it down by pointing it out, being clear in defining my terms and asking them to back up their statements (often meant to invalidate my idea or opinion) Any genuine person who disagrees with me will want to be understood and will have observations, data or anecdotes to back up their statements. Not many intps will withhold reasoning if they are being called into question in my experience but if they are playing a game they will get irate long before I actually declare an indictment of their motives
not that I experience this too often among intps, most of them mean well and sometimes they are just right lol
When someone is put under a microscope they look big...
