Rye Whiskey is always gonna have a soft spot in my heart. I loved Sean’s character and I loved the song. During chapter 6, I went back to Visit Sean’s grave and when I went back into the parlor house in Rhoades, the pianist was playing Rye Whiskey. It was a bittersweet little thing.
I would consider Rye Whiskey as my favorate. Side Note: I just took like an hour to get the "Paying Respects" trophy simply because you mentioned Sean had a grave.
It was the first campfire song I heard in the game and I fell in love with it immediately. I think it’s when I stared to really fall in love with the gang too. I never miss a chance to join any campfire song now in my second playthrough.
I love how Arthur doesn't keep up with the songs. Really gives you the immersion, as we don't know the songs first time round ourselfs, but you could guess after the first chorus what comes next and so Arthur can sing some part. Don't know if that was intentional or is it just my love for this game and trying to justify everything. 😅

He is the one that made the calls that destroyed them. Dutch was the one that fucked up in Blackwater, Dutch was the one that fucked up in St Denis, the reason the bank job went so wrong was 100% on Dutch, not Micah. He killed Bronte for revenge, he took bad tips without any inquiry on the tram robbery. He treated St Denis like his purse, he did not wish to be careful. Same stuff in the Braithwaite v Gray situation. He became a man so in love with greed he forgot his ideology and morality. I thought this was the whole point of the game. Micah was an opportunist who saw things after Guarma and took his chance (Not a defence of Micah at all). Dutch became the very thing he despised.
I think Karen was in love with Sean. She is frequently sitting on his lap at the campfire and there was one time where he was chatting quietly with her by her tent and she was giggling but I wasnt interested enough at the time to check it out. Also she sings the Lorena song right after Sean dies amd also becomes a noticabley hard drinker too. Poor girl. R.I.P. Sean 💚
Karen singing Lorena is easily one of my top 10 moments in the game. You can here the camp settling into sleep, when it happened to me the sky was beautiful.
One gamer I watched, really got upset for a bit about Karen, because she opened that letter from Mary at the same time it happened and the voices overlapped. XD
At 12:38, this song played during Jack's welcome-back party. IN my playthrough, I was almost brought to tears because the characters just... felt so real in the moment. They weren't singing exactly at the same time with each other, and they were all having fun. The npc system in this game is awesome, because it makes them seem like they are or were real people.

If you hang out at camp the night after the fishing trip Hosea gets the everybody drunk and leads them all to sing the same songs around the campfire as well.

I love these moments so much.. Really make the gang feel like it's your family. And the songs stick with you, just a couple nights ago I was singing Wild Free Rover over and over while I played more Red Dead and was just riding aimlessly here and there. And here I am now, sitting and sniffling and just.. thinking while Karen sings Lorena, and then there comes Uncle with his freakin' banjo. Now I'm crying for a whole another reason.

I really miss hearing Karen singing, and dancing with beaufitul Mary-Beth. Watching drunk Sean tumble around and hit on Karen while she, while loving it, dismiss him. This game left a hole in my chest... How can I mourn something I never actually lived???

I love these moments so much.. Really make the gang feel like it's your family. And the songs stick with you, just a couple nights ago I was singing Wild Free Rover over and over while I played more Red Dead and was just riding aimlessly here and there. And here I am now, sitting and sniffling and just.. thinking while Karen sings Lorena, and then there comes Uncle with his freakin' banjo. Now I'm crying for a whole another reason.
After playing the first game and remembering when they were singing the spanish song hits me hard because they were so happy and then they just fall apart actually makes me tear up
