- At long last the UK lockdown measures have eased to allow camping. Many months have passed since my last video and it's great to be out again. As always I'm relaxing alone in my favourite places in the North East of the UK. Have to get back into the swing of making videos, and will do my best to get out again much sooner and to some new locations.
I replaced my 1.4m awning with a 180º Darche rear awning and this was the first time I got to try it out. Really happy with it so far but it has increased the roof weight which is never a good thing for a Jimny.
Also, there's a few new toys that have been gifted to the channel. My huge thanks to PowerOak for the AC50S & 120w Solar panel and a lovely guy from Etsy who reached out to offer me the chance to try his stainless steel fire anchor. I'll link both below if you like the look of them. I don't get any kick backs or payment but was given the products for free to try and they're good kit! Thanks again to PowerOak & WingedCrafter.

Haha yeah I planned on much more at kielder but got so busy with work my plans were ruined. Decided to go anyway but didn’t arrive until 10:30pm the night before. Can’t go wrong with Brockwell though... got some time to chill

I sewed little nylon webbing loops to the excess seams on the zips. It works great but still haven’t made any mods to retract the rain fly too.

I swear the setup gets bigger every time :D I miss camping.
😅 I’m actually taking less gear. Started with 2 boxes full, down to 1 👍 still taking stuff that doesn’t get used so it’ll get culled a bit more 🤞
Got some plans for a lot more efficient system in the boot. The power is all new though but doesn’t take up much room thankfully.

I started with an iPhone 8+ on the first few videos but most are on an 11+. Would like to try the night mode of the 12 but holding off for the next model. The Microphone I use is the Shure MV88+
