    Cartels mistaking black Americans as members of a Jamaican/Caribbean DTO does not bode well for other black tourists in Mexico.
    DEA, DHS and any other agency that actively monitors drug trafficking conflict should be more vocal in communicating this sort of thing to Americans. If I look like a rival drug dealer who is actively being hunted in certain parts of Mexico, I would like to know that so I can cancel my trip down there.
    Federal drug trafficking intelligence needs to be less clandestine, it obviously hasn’t helped to fight their war on drugs.

The video shown in the interview, according to Mexican news outlets is outside a pharmacy, they went there to buy something.. Very contradictory not to add she mentioned in the same interview above, other video that the cartel wanted her and the Eric to have sex with each other ...What?! hes wounded and if anything they would want to do it with her, not ask them to do it with her friend. Not to add LaTavia had been in Matamoros before to buy medicine, not for BBL preparations.

    I think the people judging these two should wait for more information to come out before saying they were involved in a drug deal. It's a possibility among many, and things are too ambiguous on our end at the moment. Their body language and overall demeanor can be shock, trauma response, denial, or a number of other things, just as well as it could be evasive. Check your arrogance at the door. The investigators have a lot more information than we do, and they will likely release more of it when they can.

    • @ProfessorMonstru
      @ProfessorMonstru Рік тому +10

      @@Newbalance0341 Asking questions is certainly not arrogant. However, stating that they are guilty of something is very arrogant because at this point we just don't have enough information as observers on the sidelines to make that judgment. People do these interviews for a number of reasons, and we just aren't privy to what their personal reasons are. Until you are in that position, I feel it's probably best not to judge them for that. Guilty of anything or not, they have clearly been through a very traumatizing experience, and perhaps they are doing an interview to help them process the events or make an appeal for some kind of coping assistance in the aftermath of this situation. Maybe they need help with funeral costs. Being on TV is a good way to get eyes on their situation and people who help with this sort of thing to do what they do best. Either way, it's extremely presumptuous because it could genuinely be either extreme or anywhere in-between at this point for all we know. I see a lot of people making very difinitive judgments on a total lack of solid evidence, and that worries me. It just doesn't seem appropriate at all.

      Actually it sounds even worse & twice as stupid considering *NONE OF THIS TOOK PLACE IN AMERICA!* It all happened in Mexico, but *NEVER* let those pesky. Facts get in the way of a good grift for the Mango Mussolini.

      Mexico isn't that bad as long as you stay in the more touristy areas. Like Mexico City or Cancun. These guys went into an area known to be an area controlled by the drug cartels. They were warned but still went anyway.
