If I was him I would’ve ran him over
itz_k1d although I have no sympathy for him, the reason why that’s bad is because you have your license plate, and these cartel members have family members who are also cartel members. If you kill anyone, they’re not gonna be understanding that it was in self-defense or that you were the victim. There’s a chance they can put a hit out on you, best case scenario is to avoid killing anyone if possible

I'm a marine veteran and was station near the U.S./Mexican border a long time ago. You would hear about these things happening. As far as I know, it's gotten way worse. I've even visited Mexico many times and while I think it's beautiful in many spots around Mexico, I wouldn't highly suggest going there.
nothing far different in the US, in the US you dont have cartels but have wannabe Geheime Staatspolizei Troopers asking for money for going 1 mph over the limit
I would, go down there and get a high calibur rifle and start picking off cartel members. Bet even someone who has mediocre training could get hundreds.
Don't expect their government to do anything about it, they're corrupt and paid off by the cartel. Wonder how many people and how long it'd take to stop most of it. I mean they're the ones doing things that are out in the open and easy to see, it's not like they have the upper hand. They'd have no idea who's out to get them and who's not.
Why would a marine veteran visit México when the U.S. military is hated by Mexicans?
Big statement!

I noticed how everyone was quiet so the driver could completely concentrate. Its important in a situation like that not to panic and focus on the next move. Not to distract.
Yeah most people in Mexico that see some shit like that. Knows what comes next or how it ends.
Yep. A lot of passengers can’t help but freak out and it’s destructive. Wether it’s from a sense of panic or conviction that they know better than the driver, communication in lowest common denominator circumstances come at the cost of the driver’s precious attention. This happend literally 4 minutes down the main road from the Laredo/Nuevo Laredo border checkpoint. This checkpoint is maintained by the Mexican Federal government and is guarded by the Mexican Military with armored vehicles mounted with 50 calibers, and many armed border agents. The road this incident took place is named Luis Donaldo Colosio. . . This is the main road that you are made to go on after you cross the border to obtain your visitor/tourist permit which usually costs around 30 dollars a person. This permit is for Tourists and Mexican nationals without credentials or a Mexican Passport. The same situation happend to me but it was on broad day light. These are not Cartel members!! These are regular thugs who prey on tourists. They use numbers to scare you into stopping your vehicle so they can take all of your possesions. They sometimes drive next to you, roll down the window, and start asking you for a code. "If you were ignorant to stop for anyone in Mexico, let alone roll down your window," you will probably get robbed or killed. . . If you did give them the time of day, they will tell you to pull over and pay them money for a special word or code and safe passage. . . Which is complet bullshit! They use the fear of the cartel to their advantage and prey on tourists. Please do not stop for anyone, not even children. If you see them on the road, go ahead and avoid them, speed away, and if anhthing fails, run them off the road or over. . . I promise that they wouldn't think twice in taking your life if they could. If you do run them over or run their vehicles off the road, do not stop driving, or attempt to call the police. Criminals are protected and have more rights and most of the time the police are on their payroll. Drive until you get to your destination and never look back. If you have a 1/2 ton truck and money have some 36 or 40 inch open country toyo tires installed on some 18 inch offroad worthy rims. If this ends up happening to you, just know you have the best weapon anyone can have in Mexico. . . A truck with heavy duty offroad tires. You have the ability to go offroad, over side walks, speed bumps, and if you must over those thugs. The ability to go offroad or over sidewalks etc is your biggest advantage in Mexico. Do not worry about them shooting at you with their guns. The least they want to do is have the military or the cartels attention. Plus, ammo in Mexico is very scarce since guns and ammo are strictly restricted, if not almost banned in Mexico. There is only one gun store in Mexico and its in Mexico City and its mostly used by government officials. It is almost impossible for Mexican law abiding citizens to obtain a permit much less a firearm or a case of ammo. In other words these thugs would not waste good ammo trying to shoot at random. Only the cartel has the power to do that but they do not prey on Tourists. . . Tourists bring in good money to be spent on cartel operated hospitals, clubs, restaurants, bars, strip clubs, hotels, gyms, concerts, stores, etc. Please do not stop for anyone and speed away even if you might have to damage your own vehicle or those thugs.
Thanks for that info, youll save alot of lives!
@@bloxnbrixgamer61 I forgot to mention that this took place in the Laredo/Nuevo Laredo Puente International Numero 2 Juarez-Lincoln. After crossing said border you MAY be subjected through a vehicle search. After that you will be forced to take the road that this incident took place in, the exact location is about 4 minutes down the road on the very first sign of traffic signal lights. Always drive on the left hand side of that road incase you need to escape through the road median. Down this road there is a small sidewalk like barrier between the two roads which is the median. That is why it is ideal to always travel in a vehicle that will give you clearance to jump over that sidewalk like barrier to escape any threats. If you are not a Mexican national you will have to take a left turn on the traffic lights to go under the bridge in a government office and pay about 30 dollars per person to get permission to drive in Mexico. Also, never go through the city centers, you will surely get lost and never ask anyone to help guide you. If you stop at gas stations make sure all your vehicle doors are locked and always have someone in the steering wheel at all times if taking bathroom breaks or the driver needs to step out. Be careful when paying gas station pump attendees. They like to quick change people. Always count the money outloud to them bill by bill. You might give them two 500 peso bills with three 200 bills and they will pocket one bill and tell you that you shorted them etc. Count bills and show bills one by one be extra precautious. Most of the crime happens at the border states. Just be on edge until you end up leaving the states of Taumalipas and Nuevo Leon. GPS is your best friend, make sure the GPS doesnt take you through the centers of citys though, always take the highway that avoids the city center.
@@bloxnbrixgamer61 Mexico also has many tollways. Make sure to have your GPS accept Tollways. You should slso carry plenty of 100 peso bills. Tollways vary from 20 pesos to 300 pesos, depending on location etc. I usually travel from Louisiana to Michoacan or Jalisco every major holiday. I drive a Ford 2017 Raptor. Its an offroad "trophy" like truck. So if it is needed I can go very fast and Im able to drive offroad. My tanks holds up to 40 gallons of gas plus I have an emergency portable gas tank in the back of my truck that holds 58 gallons of gas. I can drive up to 650 miles on one full tank of gas. My total travel miles from Louisiana to Michoacan Mexico is about 1800 miles or close to 22 hours of drive time. In other words I can drive for 7 hours nonestop until I need to refuel. I refuel one last time in Laredo before I go into Mexico. Laredo to Michoacan is about 11 to 13 hours of drive time. So I will drive in Mexico for about 7 hours before I use my Portable gas tank to refuel. I will get to my destination on 2 full tank refills. One refill at the border and one refill halfway to my destination useing my portable gas tank.

we have to understand that cartel and organized crime in general are not composed only by "high tier" criminals, it is more like a pyramid mostly conformed by lower but very violent criminals, another thing are the plazas, they can't stole things and do crimes in cartel territory just like that, they have to be affiliated at some point, because if they are not and they are doing that stuff without "permission", their heads would't be where they are.
