29 gallon tank:
- Apistogramma cacatuoides
- Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis
- Aphyocharax rathbuni
- Apistogramma borellii
- Nematobrycon palmeri
- Moenkhausia pittieri (Diamond Tetra)
- Pygmy cories (Corydoras pygmaeus)
-Snakeskin barbs
-Sewellia lineolata
-neo shrimp
- cyclops, daphnia, rotifers, copepods, etc.
Apistogramma's can be very territorial. You are looking at a very stressed-out tank in my opinion.

I can’t see that working in a tank that size. All you can do is try. I have done things others told me woo never work. They were wrong. Give it a try… that is how we learn! Good luck.🍀

I would be very careful as both are very territorial. I would do a separate tank for the Apistogramma...just my opinion!
Any vhance harem of 3 would get along with 3-4 khuli loaches in 100l with many hides ?
All you can do is try it. I have not had that combination before.
I have a 15g tank is that to small for a Apistogramma I don't have Room in my apartment for a 20g
IV seen people successfully breed in 30l tanks in the UK. 15g is ample 👍

These are 20 Gallons and at the time just a quarantine tank for the Angels. You need talk and Minimum 75 gallon to keep them long term. They adapt well to any environment that has height, clean water and lots of plants! Keep your Temp. At 84-86

A perfect setup would be Fluval Stratum substrate, an island rock formation with a nice piece of wood. Plants in the island only stuffed between the rocks and nothing planted. Use a variety of Anubis’s, Java Fern and Buc. 5- Cory’s your choice, 2 Siamese Algae eaters which you will rotate out as they get to big and a small bristle nose Pleco. Let them be alone in the tank for a month before you add your showcase Fish such as Cherry Barbs or A sturdy Tetra such as Black Neons you have a small tank but you can bring it alive and make it easy to keep clean! Water changes keep up on them!
Thanks for the very informative video, I have 3 cacatoides in a 100l. I notice they are not doing so well at the moment, They have trouble pooping and eat less. Ir’ve been looking around to find the cause. May this be a parasite? How can I treat them? Thanks a lot for your help. They live with a bunch of corys and other amazon fish.
I would isolate them and yes very much sounds like internal Parasites. Watch for bloating as this will then be to late. Get them in a tank and find a good internal Parasitic Medication.
Are those the rabauti AKA rust corydoras you have in that tank??
What would you recommend to go with setup with cardinal tetras and sterbai corydoras? Maybe something with a yellow coloration ideally.
If your water is rock solid and tank planted well, I would try an Apistogramma if you can find one in the color you want! Get a male and a female or just a male! They come in some great colors!

That one is a hard breed to find...I am looking myself!

Spirit which one? If you mean the electric blue yes I know it is. He was a rescue and I am trying to get him healthy! He is in a tank being treated now!
