I do know so many farmers that if they see fresh road kill, they stop and in the back of the ute it goes and home to feed to the dogs. It is so sad to see a dead animal on the side of the road but if you can flip that pancake and get something positive out of a tragedy then that lost life has given life to another animal. I so get it...nothing is wasted and it all has a purpose when your living off grid.
