Hi Nic and Rob! Rob you might want to look into getting a Helicoil or Spiral Head (blades) for your planer/thicknesser? We have the same one and use hardwood a lot and it works fantastic! They have tungsten carbide tips and if one breaks/chips you can replace that one instead of the entire blade that comes with the machine. Small increments at a time and you will get great results. Have fun with your new toy! xx

It's nice to know that I am not the only one this week to have heard 'the pigs are out'. Up to my boot tops in mud because it's rained so much. My purple potatoe patch raided by the big black piggy, while his other two siblings are snoring in their Tin Bay Can hut. I grab the electric netting to realise to late that I hadn't turned the power off, whilst my first coffee for the day is half drunk and cooling on the kitchen windowsil. That was a big day! As my mum always used to say "You can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs'. Love the banana pancake recipe. Also, they say when a brumby picks a human that's it. They lock onto you for good. Brumbys are so special. I have 3 too. But my boy who considers me his own looks after me when out on the trail. They are very special. Unique. You have three beautiful brumbys. I have found that my brumbys have taught me more about myself then anything. For one thing, to just be in the moment. Not thinking four or five steps ahead. Another terrific video and love the guy doing zoomies on the quad in the background.
