I made a mistake by using the wrong pickwhip initially but figured it out. Then, experimented a bit with key frames to get it to flash and cycle through colours. All in all, great tut and experience. Also saved it as a preset as you suggested. Thank you!

Great method to get neon effect. I use another way...saber + deep glow.

That's probably even better as deep glow has a really nice glow, but since its a plugin not everyone has it. Glad you liked it❤️

Set solid color to black, then set layer mode to screen or add, that will remove the black background
