  • Join us on the sixth episode of our Arizona Trail adventure as we hike from Pine to Flagstaff!
The Arizona Trail (AZT) Thru Hike offered a steady string of stunning landscapes, at night the stars and Milky Way were amazing to observe, from the desert to high mountain ridges, the changes in vegetation from pinyon and juniper to manzanilla, cacti, and agave was spectacular.
2023 was a record year of snow in Arizona, some nights were very cold, it was a big challenge that made us physically and mentally exceed our limits.
A big thanks to all the trail angels for their generosity and kindness, they made me love this trail even more.
Depending on your pace, the AZT will require around six to eight weeks to complete, a total distance of around 800 miles.
I've started on March 6th to finish it on April 19th
The highlight of the AZT was the Grand Canyon, from the south to the north rim, it was overall one of the greatest experience I've done, an incredible hiking adventure.

Glad you liked it! I don't really know what happened, there was a huge hole and then fell back again trying to jump on the edge of that creek... it was not my day, like they say

Thru hiking the AZT has been on my bucket list for years; just subscribed to remind myself to check your channel to know what to expect on certain segments. You got some great footage in these videos!

Bummer on the water bottle dude. I believe I might sleep with my shoes in my quilt after seeing your video. Did you guys make it all the way through? Hitting the trail in 2024. Oh and snow gear should I bring spikes?

It was a funny moment, he was able to recover his bottle because the wind blew it towards us. I learned from my mistake and slept with my shoes. We had the chance to enter the Grand Canyon a few days before it closed which allowed us to complete the entire trail. Depending on the snow accumulation you get in 2024, the micro spikes could be useful, the snowshoes were more essential in the north rim of the Grand Canyon, happy trails!

Morale was low in this section…
    Nice blooper crossing lol

The toughest section because of the cold nights, miles of mud and melting snow.

Sometimes it's a dog shit day. Those water crossings looked pretty shitty too.

It was really not the best section to hike because of the cold weather but I was still enjoyable.
Congrats for your 1k subscribers, well-deserved!!

@@Ratatrail Thank you! Just nabbed the last five subs in the past 30 minutes. Strange because I've only had two views on the channel in the last hour. Bots maybe? I'm not gonna argue, haha.

@@RhodySeth lol it's weird, youtube doesn't always show who the new subscriber is, true or fake sub, like you said we won’t complain about it!
