Sifd you are never going to get rid of that no boss rares challenge haha. That is one of the best +15s to take for sure! You can get the new boss rares using a golden pelt from the miner if the prospector happens to show up early.
Items and sigils are the most exploitable parts of this game, and most of the best sigils come from common cards. While some rare cards are REALLY good (like the Geck, Mothman, and Ouroboros), there are only a few sigils that are exclusive to rare cards:
- Trifurcated Strike (Mantis God)
- Trinket Bearer (Pack Rat)
- Amorphous (Amoeba)
- Bellist (Daus)
- Repulsive (Ijiraq)
Out of all of those, I personally think that the only real sacrifice is Trifurcated Strike, since Ijiraq doesn't qualify for a Soul Sacrifice (giving or receiving) and Trinket Bearer can still be picked up quite consistently. On the other hand, there are a ton of sigils that are key to the most broken synergies that you can get on common cards (and sometimes ONLY common cards): Fecundity, Corpse Eater, Unkillable, Worthy Sacrifice, Bees Within, Ant Spawner, Double Strike, Brood Parasite, Hoarder, Rabbit Hole, etc.
The only reason Sifd has to stop using No Boss Rares is to showcase the Ijiraq, since it's the only rare exclusive to this game mode.
Before Prospector: "This fight will be really hard."
After: "That is the fastest I've ever beaten him."
btw the mealworm sigil is really god when used on a unit like the cat. cuz then you can flame the cat and use it a stat booster for your entire deck
If you put the cat sigil on the mealworm, or if you put the extra bone sigil on the mealworm, you can essentially generate infinite bones while buffing your teams hp. I used the hook worm starter deck and its really powerful for that kind of build, since you can buff meal worm with the campfires freely.
The problem with the Wolverine card is that it doesn't keep any bonuses it gets over the course of a single run, the self-buff is only good for a single encounter. In my opinion, it can still be very powerful if you want to make it a strong defensive card, perhaps on a Mantis, Mantis God, or Pronghorn that has the ability to kill multiple enemy creatures a turn, which then converts the buffed damage stat into a temporary offensive boost. I still think multi-strike passives could have better uses, but the fact that Rampager doesn't carry over through a run severely limits its good use cases.

Hey sifd, the wolverine would likely keep the power if it got the cockroach sigil and died (it would cost more bones than the other way around but it also has more health)
Also, we could dream that it kept the power ouroboros-style, that would be fun if it could oneshot the moon lmao
Also, the next decks might involve the newer cards, so maybe you have to unlock all 3 cards in that deck to use it.
Sadly there are no new decks at this time, new stuff is still being added so hope for new decks

That's not how it works. It will just do 3 hits in 3 directions and the do another one! into the forward direction

My assumption is that one overrides the other. Similar to tri strike and duo strike. (I’m pretty sure it does. I forgot if it does as I was typing)
@@kengored_alt i gave mantis god the dire wolf sigil, it only attacks 4 times, not 6 times.
Corpse Maggots on the Dire Cub is definitely the play in my opinion, also everything is cheaper that was so you can play the egg turn one with the wolf cub.
I hope we get a Grimora run modded in the future and we get to play against that pirate boss fight.
the dev said that's not happening, this DLC is the last thing he's gonna do and then he's ready to move onto a new project

I really want to see a run with all of the challenges on, Or trying to make thhe opponents as tough as possible. I understand you're trying to get through the unlocks as fast as possible but I'm still looking forward to it.
sacrificing the cockroach was definitely a mistake. The cockroach was an insta-win basically. You start with 2 bones, so you only need 2 more to start the combo.
The combo looks kinda like this: play the cockroach, sacrifice it for the and, sacrifice the and for another ant a whole bunch of times, play the cockroach and sacrifice it multiple times for an ant in every line.

The other day i had the card tentacle with 10 health and undying, funnest run i had on this mod. Also did it with the ant deck so i never have to play that cursed deck again. Love the vids man keep em up

Honestly, Boss Totems aren't that bad. No boss rares is much worse because of the power difference between common and rare cards. Couple that with Regular Totem Battles and More Difficult Battles (Leahy will randomly play Rare and bigger cards like the Grizzly more often.) and you'll find yourself losing to RNG very often.

Sifd, the Single Life challenge is currently bugged! While the graphics work, when you lose you don't lose and you still get a smoke during the boss fight. I hope you stay faithful to the Single Candle Challenge if you use it!
But sifd, cockroach+corpse maggot (or just keeping the cockroach) is way better with infinite ants.

the new card could be very powerful with matis god and it could be very easy to play if you have a smoke or a rat king or have sacrificed a black goat. That's a lot to prep for one card when you could transfer it's sigil but if you were already running a bone deck it wouldn't be so bad

Hello! I absolutely love the channel, and you’re by far the best player of this (at least that I’ve seen). I wanted to ask for some advice to pass challenge level 7? (Well more general than that, any tips to get better?) Love the amazing content!!! Hope to see the channel keep growing!
I already beaten all the challenges so the tips I can give is:
-Best Starter Deck of the 4, is Bee and the OP Mantis God.
-Skink sigil is op! Fuse it with Undeath or Card search sigil to have 2! The tail will have the same sigil as Skin and it turn into a free card when using Undeath!
-Field Mice sigil is even broken if you transfer it on bees, 1 cost units, or tadpole which is a new 0 cost card.
-Always have 2 or 3 strong cards and possibly one with Undeath to win against Moon.
-1 card should always TKO common battles and Undeath or Field Mice sigil should be on it when you can.
1:30 definitely the pup on the mantis god just because mantis god is 1 cost. Imo getting this soon!!!!

if u have the one candle challange u will still get the smoke
Moon phase 2 has some interesting cards popping up but unfortunately, you basically will always oneshot it
the other 4 decks aren't implemented yet, and same with the devlogs. all of the entries after entry #4 is the same thing.

Welp. if you had use a squirell instead of the Ant Queen you would've lost your cub since the Moleman would've not blocked the entrance of the Mantis God which would've killed your squirell before the ding forcing the entrance of your cub for the ding and replacing your wolf with the Ant Queen, so you really dodged a bullet there

he should of kept using a ring worm and sacrifice it to the campfire, the next time he would of gone to a camp fire they wouldnt be there. any cards that have a poison sigil will poison them and the mantis god would of had 100% to get more hp
idk if you know this but if you sacrifice black goat or rat king to the bone lord, it will give you 3/4 bones instead of 1.

That sounds misleading. I think if you consider the cards sacrificed to get the one card kill out there that you'll find you used more than one card.
