The drone ant glitch happens all the time while using broken cards with fledgling. I supposed fire ant has double sentry and ram (from extra sigil mod?)
Also - please, modders, could somebody make the hammer mod not be able to destroy some cards, or types of cards? I mean, gold nuggets, trees, etc. I think it is maybe reasonable to be able to destroy chimes, dams, etc. But at least not this cheating that we have right now :(
Make it to where the hammer can't destroy units that can't be Sacrificed. That would be the most sensical change, in my opinion. It would also be cool to see mods that try to bring more balance to the game, rather than just adding new cards, like what the Hammer mod is trying to do. Increase the amount of points needed to win from 5 to 8 would be nice, it'd also be nice if Fecundity got nerfed to only work once per match (the card that gets added to your hand doesn't have the SIgil.) More mods need to balance their cards with the Flame mechanic in mind, i.e. "would giving this card 1 more attack/2 more health make it completely overpowered?" All in all, a lot of the mods for Inscryption are a mixed bag. The base game is already unbalanced, but mods take it to another level most of the time.
@@michaelbowman6684 I think the opposite. Cards should be balanced and viable between themselves, instead of being sacrifice transfer fodder / flame dependent. Flame and sigil transfer literally break the balance if you know what you are doing. If you want, you will always buff lowest cost 1-2 times, and it is already on par with 2-3 cost while being almost free to play. It does not mean anything. If anything, events should be balanced. I strongly suspect that if you could not upgrade 1 blood cost cards on the flame, 2-3 blood cost cards would instantly become more viable.
By experimenting I found out that the hammer only does 100 damage, so the ant god must hava more than 100 life! (since the shield atribute was not transfered)
Did i notice that a card survived because of trap sigil? Like it didnt die since it needed to show the trap art then die. Was wondering if the trap glitch kept the god alive but i may be wrong
Assuming that the hammer works like it does in the other two acts, I think that the ant god card had over 100 health. The hammer does 100 damage when you use it, which should hypothetically kill anything. I can't remember where, but someone took the time to get Ouroboros past 100 health, just to demonstrate the hammer does damage to your card when you use it.
Kaycee's Mod is out now. An official endless Act 1 with a twist. New cards, challenges, ect. For example my first run, I'm level 1. If I want to get to level 2 I have to amass 10 challenge points. And I decided that to do that I'll take a double backpack challenge...my max is 1 item
I struggle to understand why you avoided the bullet ant, the sniping sigil is so strong, especially in Ants where their attack is easy to increase. At one point you could have transfered it to the Leafcutter which had double-strike, which woulda been hella strong! Not that the deck didn't get super powerful anyway, but I thought that would've been a stronger choice lol
An updated leshy mod would be cool, give him more powerful bosses especially but a few OP cards scattered around would also be good. Call it DarkScription
Hey Sifd, you can try out the curses mode and you can try to do a 6 curses run so people won't yell at you for being overpowered psss fecundity is allowed because of how ridiculously hard it is
That sigil that makes the card attack the opposing card when it is being played - I think it means that the card will not deal just 1 damage no matter the situation, but instead use it's own damage to do it. So, that sigil will be a lot more powerful with the flame, if you give it like 3-5 damage and it will instakill almost everything. While the Sentry is supposed to be played against moving cards too, it is a lot weaker in damage most of the time. About the Leafcutter ant - it seems to me like it attacks front when something comes in range of it's attack? But now, because it has Bifurcated strike, it attacked the stump 2 times when 2 enemy cards got placed to the sides of the stomp (where the Leafcutter ant can attack)? It is confusing, but it is so far the best explanation I could come up with to this phenomenon.
I think the leafcutter has more than 2 sigils (in this case 3 sigils: 2 sentries/machine gun and the “ram card”) so the sigils are bugged out cuz currently, a card cannot show more than 3 sigils i think

Got curious about the shining guest ant and assuming it's not bugged, it's neatly flavorful! Shining guest ants steal from wood ant nests to survive, so it makes sense that they'd get ant damage but not give it, along with the "it will not be accepted by the nest" line when first uncovering it. Infected ant is also very neat as it's basically a zombie ant infected by a fungus called Cordyceps that controls the ant to crawl up as high as it can, latch on, and then explode spores to infect other ants. This is where the inspiration for The Last of Us comes from.

Love the vids Sifd. You should try an RNG run. Basically you roll an RNG for every non-combat decision. eg. 1-6 when choosing cards on the path/1-8 when trading pelts for cards/1-3 when choosing major boons. It makes the run very challenging. I did it and nearly lost a run where only mod was drafting. edit: 1-4 when choosing how much to try to burn something on the flame
About the pirate fight: it seems his cannons work like "Deal 1 damage to a random minion. If it survived, repeat" don't know about the hand bombing though
The cannon fire did 21 damage…. Nothing about your board and the damage it did adds up. It is not based on damage you did or power or health of your creatures played. Makes no sense at all.

Got an idea for O.P. card, Cow ant! Unkillable, poison multiple attack,returns to hand after three turns. As a kid, I hit one with a brick after it stuck it's stinger Though my finger. After I dug up the brick , it WALKED AWAY!🤯😱😎
Yo Sifd, you should check out the Custom Sidedeck mod. It allows you to pick from four side decks (instead of just having squirrels), and I think the Ants Deck from that would pair great with this mod.
first of all, you play like you want and I will watch anyway fecondity or totem aren't bad, the game is made with them, it's rng-based to have a good totem or not concerning the hammer mod, as a safe and for mod like the magnificus one or grimora it good I am just a bit sad to use it on non-sacrificial card like the gold ore one, you don't need that to win and it break the concept of the boss fight
Thanks for the positive words :D Now about the hammer use: Before the hammer mod was created we (the people who still played act 1) got annoyed by the Firs and Trees Leshy gives you on some stages and requested from modders to give us the hammer from act 3 to get rid of them when they appeared... Now a month has passed and as you can see the mod creator himself has decided to nerf the 1 purpose that the hammer was (originally) requested for...
I dont think the ANT GOD has a damage shield, the Hammer actually has a max damage it can deal to a unit, if i remember correctly its 100 damage, it was a complete surprise when i was upgrading my Uroboros on act 2 and also an annoying finding, so i think the ANT GOD actually has more than 100 life points, still insane though

Feels like every minute or so when you play inscryption nowadays, you do a "mocking whiners in the comments section" voice. Doesn't really matter that you're just doing an impression of whining to poke fun at those comments, it's still whining and it gets a bit grating at times. The mods are cool though, it's nice to see that this game has such a loving fanbase that they'll go to such lengths to extend the experience. I wonder how far they're gonna take it.

I think leafcutter ant has three sigils - contain (infected ant), ram and ambush, that because of bi strike and one attack looked like double sentry.

Because it needed 2 sacs and getting more ants on board is more important than just the sniper sigil
