Suhr Guitars, Amps, and pedals are truly amazing! I can tell Jack was star struck in seeing/talking with John Suhr and it's great to see young people get excited like that and I'm sure inspiration has hit Jack and he will blow us away even more with his unbelievable playing! This is one of my favorite Peach videos, keep up the great work!
Great interview, Jack! You really engaged well with Andy and John and brought out the best in both of them. So often, interviewers in that situation just have a list of set questions and are more interested in getting to the next question than listening to what’s being said. Well done!
Not only is jack an unreal player but his Namm videos are the best that I have seen this year. Wish you guys had a US presence as it would be great to have a store like yours on this side of the pond.
Great interview! Andy Wood is a genuine guy. Also, a nice and well deserved complement from the man himself, John Suhr,. Love Suhr guitars. I can afford a Fender right now but I’m saving for a Suhr.
Don looked so familiar I thought....then it hit me! "This is Don at Haggerty's musicworks" - watched so many demos of his back in the day! haha. great guy!
I'm talking about when they came out in the 1980s. And what are you talkin about voiced different. The first suhr's were strats. The build quality was far superior than Fender at the time. Fender has improved.
@@guitarocd9984 no suhr are voiced differently I own both Suhr is a modern take ...has its own distinct feel and sound..If I want a traditional more twang tele or strat Fender killls everyone as they should! but for a more modern thing different radius woods pickups Suhr is the bomb! the sound nothing like fender...different
You made my point. The wood was better the paint job was better the radius was better so on and so on. This is not comparing apples to oranges. It was a better Strat copy. That was their goal. I'm talking about the build. Suhr was one of the first Boutique stratocasters.
I have to Jack you are an absolute natural in front of that camera and just as good interviewer. I'm a a big Suhr fan and a big Peach guitars fan although my bank account is not such a fan ;)
@@matthewpaluch777 three times I've took my $800 fender with breily and dimazio pickups in it and put it up against 5k suhrs and left disappointed every time!!! Sorry there way overpriced IMO
Why aren’t prices mentioned? Probably because the average small time /venue player can not afford them. The guys making big bucks get them for free. Lol
Suhr had a booth on the main floor while Gibson had about 10x the space, the show starts at 10am but we were in early to chat with Cesar and check out the new lines. We really haven't see anything to suggest that consumers have rejected Gibson after the "Authentic" video, if anything Gibson continue to go from strength to strength. Sales are up, the new lines are hugely popular and the guys running the show are getting Gibson back on top. The "Authentic" video was maybe ill advised but it only seems to have angered keyboard warriors and not serious purchasers!
@@PeachGuitars Well, I bought two guitars last year. Hope that makes me a serious purchaser. Passed on a used LP studio. Just didn't feel comfortable in my hands even though the price was right. If I were ever to get a Gibson, I think I would go for a V. Japanese-made ESP single cuts are better quality to anything coming out of America except possibly Keisel.

Hey Kelvin, it's what works and what people still want after all these years! Guys like Suhr really do bring their own unique flavour to these classic designs though and they do only form part of their incredible roster of guitars. For something a little less traditional check out their Modern, Standard Plus and Carve Top models.....we've got some killer examples here -www.peachguitars.com/suhr/
The interview was done so well. Questions were to the point and had depth. I think this was one of the best vids I have seen from the show.

I felt the pressure when John arrived. Wonderful person!

the video I have been waiting for, thank you.
Got a PT15, absolutely powerful and versatile amp with its three channels, headphone/aux inputs and embedded reactive load/ IR system
Great video. Well done Jack
The interview was well conducted. I'm sure even John Suhr was surprised. Seen too many of the other "NAMM amateur videos".
the wood guitars and that Brownface amp...amazeballs
that ian thornley white strat looks soooo good.
Don looked so familiar I thought....then it hit me! "This is Don at Haggerty's musicworks" - watched so many demos of his back in the day! haha. great guy!
Great interviews 👌
Great interview. Didn’t see too much coverage of Suhr so thank you for this. What became of the Aura?
Jack is an amazing 🎸 player ..love his playing..
Yeah! Great video Jack! from Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Nice Midwood Guitar Studio shirt! Awesome store
Oh i love Suhrrrrr (and Peach Guitars hehehe, very good lefty offer :))
Way out of my price range. I will stay with my mim strat. Also a great guitar.
Love those Guitar Wall hangars. Where can I purchase one for my Suhr ?
@John Gregory Thanks.
I’ve bought a few Suhr based on Jack’s playing alone. He’s a good influencer for Suhr I think.
Suhr force Fender to be better.
but they really are voiced differently..I own 2 of both brands cant compare them

Fender finally got around to their Elite and Ultra Series which is their attempt to match the suhr guitars
Great interview and interviewer
I’ve got a lot of guitars but surely there is room in the guitar cupboard for a Suhr Tele..?
It's nice to see an interview with good depth into the specs etc rather than just hyping up for nothing. This guy has done his homework.
Where do I find that tele!
Errr..what? The colour of the guitar dictated the pickups? 2:50
Andy Wood! Love that dude!!!
U didnt review the Scott Henderson, last in line. Nothing new about them anyway.
love the chubby guy!!! happy fellow
was hoping hed check out the scott henderson model...
You can on our website: bit.ly/2Ode8pq!
John’s voice crack at 13:55
Very impressive brand Suhr
That heavy relic job doesnt look bad, but it could be much better.
Jack, you need to demo that black and silver guitar with that amp. Yowza that sounded good.
Don is lovely!
I have to Jack you are an absolute natural in front of that camera and just as good interviewer. I'm a a big Suhr fan and a big Peach guitars fan although my bank account is not such a fan ;)
I guess Suhr has a hard time since Ibanez released the AZ line
Who's matayis?
good job
Awesome!!
13:55 "the SIMMMM..... the simplicity..."
Such an original company! Let's copy fenders and double the price
John was a Fender custom shop
Master builder. Price wise you definitely get that quality for a fraction
of what a FCS guitar would cost!
@@matthewpaluch777 three times I've took my $800 fender with breily and dimazio pickups in it and put it up against 5k suhrs and left disappointed every time!!! Sorry there way overpriced IMO
Trevor Wilkinson of 'Vintage' guitars must have upped his game if Suhr is using his parts!
Whiskey & Hamburgers!
I’ve been told Suhr produces reasonably high quality instruments
reasonably? they are very high quality instruments.
John is such a handsome man
Never heard of mateus
Look him up. He's quite good.
I love Suhr guitars, I own one, it's amazing. I also love relic guitars. The heavy relic work on the Ian Thornley guitar is god awful, sorry :-(
Unfortunately us working musicians cannot afford these beauties
I love Suhr guitars and I own 3, but the relic job on that Ian Thornly Sig model is a bit rough...

10:35 I see what you did there Andy
Don Bonomini is the nicest guy.
Suhr seems a lot more busy than that empty Gibson booth in the previous video. Well done.
We had a private appointment with Gibson, that’s why it was quiet!
@@PeachGuitars Sure you did. CMon tell us the truth. Consumers rejected that "play Authentic" BS. Back to Bankruptcy for Gibson.

I would be interested to see Suhr make original body styles instead of trying to hotrod strats and teles
Hooray! Another $4,000 guitar
Still cheaper than a fender custom shop!
What happened to their Les Paul type guitar???
Hey Bryan, the Suhr Aura was a limited 100 piece run from NAMM 2018, it never developed in to a full production model. It was however very cool!

T and S, so a telecaster and Stratocaster then eh! Wow didn't expect that!
I'm pretty Suhr I'll never be able to afford one.....
Mateus guitars are nice but I do not like gold hardware.
Is he Harry Potter? Jajajajaja
Don't these companies do anything original? A strat and a tele!
